why are people still getting this when they can get the Xiaomi alternatives for a lot less in price with more features? is it because of the support? or because xiaomi is a chinese brand?
i moved from a Dyson V7 to a Dreame V9 2 years ago and there wasn't one thing that wasn't better - the movement of the stick, the power, the extra brushes all included… I bought it from Gearbite, and their support was great too. They replaced my soft roller when I had issues with it and was received in a few days. Still going strong!

Fair enough - makes sense. But trust me, if you buy even the xiaomi v9, you'll at least have the equivalent to the v7 Animal head that i find works much better, and a much better battery life.
Yep agree at this price the dreame for me would be the better choice but each to their own!
Different experience - I have a Dyson V6 at home going strong and bought a Dreame V9 for the office about 14 months ago - hate the xiaomi - I consider it to be inferior to the dyson in performance in not being able to pick up small pebbles and more difficult to empty.
In an office, i assume it's carpet? Are you using the carpethead? Have you used the different power settings?

Just got a Bosch Zoo o that was recommended by someone in the comments, whom had both, from another post. Have to say it's brilliant, and am also over the Dyson Tax / hype train.

I have owned a Bosh Athlete, pretty much same as zoo without the extra accessories for 5 years!; Still going strong, and very happy with it. It pretty much replaced the corded vacuum. Recommended, as a everyday vacuum
Other choices like electrolux die after 3 year warranty and cannot be fixed.
