  • I pay $34 for 80GB. Nevertheless good deal a

    • I pay $32.50 for 120gb.

      • How did you score that one guessing an Optus agent had no idea what they were doing or a lot of haggling on your part lol πŸ‘πŸ˜

edit: no way ever ill upgrade my plan the way Optus pricing is going north plus I have plenty of extras too my plan

Yes, I've kept my plan for nearly 4 years now. Remember those days where optus would 25% discount on their 12 month plans ? Mine was expired and so I negotiated it and the agent brought it down to keep me as a customer. Very happy with deal as I get optus sports too.

          • @Vancomycin 1000mg: Same here though from under 2 years ago I signed up, a long standing of 25% discount on my second postpaid plan Optus does not advertise it currentlyhas 100gb data with unlimited calls/sms etc, this $50 mobile postpaid plan 25% discounted too $35 as my first postpaid plan is a $15 5gb data plan (total cost both $50) , though some extras will be removed when I hit 2 years data will drop from 100gb to 80gb but still keeping it as the plan includes roaming in the 35 countries with unlimited calls/sms between those countries Australia included not that cause of the covid i can travel overseas at the moment lolz

Edit: same here Optus sports, free streaming of Netflix, Stan ABC iview etc, free music streaming Spotify, Googleplay music mainly keep the plan for the being overseas at those 35 countries with unlimited calls/sms from those list of 35 countries too list of 35 countries which includes back too Australia and 80gb + 5gb is plenty, the deal was the ebay and Optus deal funny enough with a $150 eBay voucher bonus

        • TGG now has the $39 for 60gb and a $150 go, mobile broadband offer.

I Pay $35 for 105gb for my Optus postpaid second plan, plus a lot of bells and whistles extras, cant get anymore with Optus's current postpaid plansπŸ‘πŸ˜

  • $21.50 for 80gb per month but this is from an old deal with Telstra's $59/month, after selling the $500 JB hi-fi GC. No extras and no international calls so may be lacking for some.

  • My Kogan starter $4.90 is gonna end in a week.
What is the best option to jump on now? I use data a lot.
Prefer something not Optus because of their patchy coverage in Melbourne suburbs

  • This seems to be their normal price. And most importantly, Optus is only good when things go smoothly. If something does go sideways, you will most likely regret to have ever dealt with them.

Same applies with Telstra, well I have both Optus and Telstra and Telstra at the moment tops the worst out of the two for me, especially trying too talk too a real person over the phone is so impossible and there online help chat some of the agents have no idea

      • Agree Telstra support chat is the worst I've come across.

      • Agree. Telstra support is as bad as Optus if not worse. I'm wondering why their support are so bad? From my experience neither their support understood what was the problem nor willing to help resolving the complaint. Is it worthy to save pennies by hiring such people and lose customers in long run?

  • Optus is offering either free or costing $50 over 3x months for 150gb of data per month for 3 months (waiting for someone too confirm it could be free over 3 months) which you can add too your current Optus post-paid plan (including this one posted here I'm guessing) you get free Optus sport to watch the Euro games for 3 months too πŸ‘πŸ˜
