In YUV444 mode, can disable 'PQ' through Service Menu to make it sharp but then left with green M on screen…
Am also considering going for the 50S8…
If there's a just scan aspect ratio try that - it helped with my 40 inch dse tv becoming quite sharp/using it as a monitor
