  • What are the VIC restrictions with these again?

    • +1

      You can't use them.

      Did I just get got?

No drag-racing the elderly on mobility scooters, unless there is mutual consent.

      • +1

        Username checks out.

        • 😂

    • yet people still ride them. read that Vicpol don't really give a damn.

    • In Vic (at least), if your motorised scooter:

      • is powered by a petrol motor
      • has an electric motor with a maximum power greater than 200 watts
      • has a maximum speed greater than 10 km/h

Then it cannot be legally used on a road or any road related areas.

This is because it is no longer classified as an escooter (or ebike) and is classified as a 'motor vehicle'., therefore require licence and registration

      • I don't mind to register if I can bring this over to Aus, max speed 75km/h.

        • The tricky bit… can it be registered? That is, does it meet the ADRs?

  • Will these take Eneloops? (/joke)

    • +5

We never joke about Eneloop 😎

Segway are greedy bastards, wholesaling container loads to ALDI and then selling it at the same price
    Typical Chinese scruples 👎

    • Bloody capitalists…

  • How do these sit in the range of escooters?

    • I'd go for the Mi Pro 2 as it has 45km range for not much more $$

  • Which scooter has brake levers on both sides?

    • +1

These use e-brakes which are engaged from the lever on the left. To have them on both sides you want something with disc brakes.

  • Can these scooters be used like a normal kick scooter?
