    Wow that’s new game prices

Comes with the DLC and expansions, digital, so you can play all the time, everywhere.

Excellent value for people wanting to play this before BOTW2 is released.

BOTW DLC is horse-armour tier. Realisitically it's worth like $10.

        • Dlc was fun but definitely overpriced

        • reckon?

i played through the whole game again in master mode, did trial of the sword, got the motorbike etc. it definitely felt like more than $10 for me…

      • +1

        Wouldn't say excellent value lol

First time buying first party Nintendo games?

      • For Digital Store software it's good value and better than paying full price for those wishing to play this before BOTW2 releases. Just FYI, this is definitely NOT first time buying -_-

  • I want to get a Zelda game for my daughter to play while recovering from knee surgery.
Is BOTW the best one to start with? She has a WiiU and Switch if that helps..

    • +1

Depends on your daughter's age, if you have a Nintendo Online Subscription, I'd recommend Zelda:A Link to the past. Otherwise Zelda: Links Awakening. But if she is older than I'd suggest The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

      How old is she?
Botw is IMO the best installation in the series but isn’t casual friendly - there’s a fair bit of investment involved to really get through it.

If she’s the type for hours of consistent play - then for sure!

      • Thanks, she is 14 and has a fair bit of time on her hands and can't really move around so I thought a good involving story would be great.
I remember playing N64 Ocarina of time back in the day, will check it out for switch.

        • Yeah she will enjoy it if she is 14 and a gamer.

        • +2

Best to check with her if she can handle 3rd person view. It's hard to tell based on consoles.
14 means roughly year 8, so it would be an age appropriate game with loads of content. If she is more into 2D zelda, then would recommend links awakening instead.

Also, skyward sword is coming out next month, another good zelda to pick up if she enjoyed botw

Just the DLC is also 30% off. So $21. Been waiting for this to drop price. Perfect timing with discount eshop cards at big W tomorrow.
