At The Good Guys, I got the 65" C1 + shipping + wall bracket worth $99 for $3354.
(EDIT: The TV was $3250 in the receipt)
Originally, I was going to buy the eBay Plus promo $3415 + $55 shipping ($3470) using 3x $500 eBay giftcards with 4% off and the rest cash - Total of $3410 (3415 + 55 [shipping] - 60 [gc discount]).
But my dad (who was footing 50% of the bill) told me to wait till he can go in-store and try to get some more off. He went to The Good Guys hoppers crossing with the $3410 I quoted to him from eBay TGG and got them to give the tv + shipping + wall bracket for $3404.
I had all the money in my bank acc ready to go, but I was at work so I got them to email me the deal over the phone.
Using online payment I used 2x $500 gc with 5% discount (the online store has 2x gc limit, in-store idk what the limit is, you can probably use more).
So 65" C1 + $55 shipping + $99 wall bracket for $3404 - $50 (gc discount) = $3354

Thats a solid price man. I went into JB yesterday and they would only budget $50 off their advertised price which doesn't even down to online retailers!
Wow THANKS for your update - just walked into my local TGG (Nunawading) and mentioned your price. Was expecting pushback but the sales guy didn't even bat an eyelid, punched the price into the system and said "well it doesn't stop me" lol. He ended up letting the $3,250 INCLUDE delivery too, although I'll have to wait a bit longer until they get stock in store (could have paid delivery to get it sooner). I wonder what the floor price of the model is right now then!?

I am a little confused about your delivery part though. At first yu say $3,250 included delivery, but at the end you say you could get it faster if you paid for delivery.
Sorry, I meant he gave me an option to pay for delivery on top of the $3,250, they would have sent the stock directly from a remote warehouse next week (I think). I'm in no rush so was happy to wait for stock to come back in store, in which case he let the price be inclusive of delivery.
Will upload copy of order (or whatever document they gave me) when I get a chance, hopefully sometime tomorrow if not tonight
@snuke: Just called good guys and told them about 3250 price and they put it through straight away. Only down side is no free shipping.

Incredible. The lowest for the CX has been 3320 from what I've seen, so this is pretty nuts for the C1 so soon.
The GX has hit 3288, so there should be more room to move on the C series.
Yeah with prices already slashed to an advertised ~$3.6k so soon, I was thinking prices might get closer to $3k by Xmas or clearance. But if they're willing to go $3.3k now, maybe it will get to sub $3k before the C2s arrive!

My old man and I walked into Harvey Norman in Noarlunga, SA to buy a Panasonic DVR for $295 on Tuesday and casually asked what he could do if we got a 65" C1 with it (not really even intending to buy a TV but if it was a good price, we'd take it). It was ticketed for $3567, and he said he could do the DVR and the TV with free delivery (if we needed it delivered, which we didn't) both for $3320. We walked out with both.
You don't get bargains at Harvey Norman very often but this was insane.
I was going to get the G1 65 and somehow ended up with C1 77 at $5455 included delivery
Bigger is probably better right , now it is hard part to break the news with wifey .
