  • Is this actually a decent mattress?

I added a link to previous discussion. For me, I have used the King for 4 years and been very happy. $287 delivered is a no-brainer for me value wise.

We bought one about two years ago and we've been very happy with it. Going to replace the spare bedroom mattresses with these to!

started to have a noticeable sag on the side where I sleep on, and once that happened it wasn't as comfortable anymore

      • You should be rotating your mattress every few months to avoid that.

For small children and guest room.

  • Mine had a weird bend at the head but they came to party with small refund and I could fix with something to prop up.

  • ah ZZZ Atelier - what a great confidence-inspiring brand name !!

    • I always thought so too.
It's probably the friendliest way I can think of call yourself 'sleep workshop' without the industrial twang…..

  • 2.5 years on, I'm fairly happy with my mattress. Some loss of firmness/structure at the very corners, but nothing too major.

I have an Assured Firm model; and it's ROCK hard, but it's EXACTLY as advertised; I just overestimated how hard I wanted it.
I had some shipping issues and the company gave me a HUGE partial refund; and a long phone call for apology.

I'd shop with them again, and considering the price (even pre-refund) It was certainly higher quality than I expected. Expensive mattresses obviously top it; but I was impressed.

      that’s what she said

Waste of money IMO. Sags and will destroy your spine. They used to be cheaper too.

Was it enough to use their warranty? And if so, how was your service experience?
Even when I had a $2l mattress, faults happen; how the address them marks their quality and ethics.

My 'assured firm' won't be sagging in my lifetime :P I can STAND on it, and not sink in (and I'm over 100kg, lol) I purchased too firm a mattress :P but that's my fault, and they gave me money to buy a soft topper.

Had a Queen one last about a year. The warranties on mattresses are very difficult to claim on because they talk about visible sags that you can measure with a ruler or bar across the top while there is no weight on there. For ours it just became much softer in certain areas, which resulted in waking up with aching backs. The soft/sagged areas are very obvious just by pushing gently on different areas but once you get off it and look across it there is very little to see visibly so doesn't meet the requirements of a warranty claim.

Interesting. I have bought 5 of this mattress now. (in different sizes and for different houses). The oldest one is king size and is nearly 3 years old - no sag, no sign of wear or tear. For $280 that's just too good

    These are terrific value

I have two for the kids bedrooms, seem decent for the money.

Brought a king size mattress a year ago based on good reviews and recommendations here on ozb. Though I share my experience, both my partner and I are back sleepers and weigh 50kg and 65kg, personally we find it too hard and often would wake up to go on our sides because of this. The bed memory foam topper has sagged from our weight as expected. Would I buy again or recommend to family and friends? Most likely not!

  • I bought one a year ago; doesn't sag, good quality, lot's of spring and foam goodness.

  • Just had mine delivered. Does eBay offer price protection ..?

We bought a queen size one about 9 months ago. It was pretty comfy initially, but it's already got a noticeable sag in it where we sleep, which is making it less and less comfortable. It's a good choice for a guest bedroom, but it doesn't last long as your main mattress.
