    Read the reviews before purchasing…

    •

Yeah some say good, some say bad, but mFi certified apparently and dirt cheap.

        but mFi certified

I find that hard to believe…

        some say good

All the good ones seem fake. Did you read them in full?

  •

The pictures don’t show the pinouts? Why? Would they be violating a MFI license?

The pictures don’t show the pinouts? Why?

It's very common to see that. I suspect those pictures of the connector are actually computer-generated, and Apple supplied the 3D file for the "business end" of the connector.

Is there a prize for spotting all the typos in the pics ?

Wow, I had no idea how bad a cable can be until I saw those reviews.

I also find it hard to believe that it is MFI certified, I recall seeing an article where saying that Apple takes $4 (probably in USD as well) cut per lightning head to MFI certify it.

or maybe it's a bad batch and they're dumping it

    •

I find most mfi cables on AliExpress usually start at around $12+

      •

Yup, all this time I thought brick and mortar stores were price gouging asking for $20+ per cable when you could find $2.00 cables on ebay (not certified ofc).

After reading that article, well it seems that it is apple who is price gouging…

You lost me at "MFI cables on AliExpress"…. you've got to be joking.

We are so confident of our spiel that we are backing it up with a 90 day warranty. Don't bother with more expensive imitations that offer a one year or more warranty

    • +1 vote

Yes but did you see what the 90 day warranty gives you??

‘You have 90 days warranty with our store. So if anything happens you can just contact us and we will be happy to give you the best help we can have’

A warranty to "the best help we can have"?? Sold!

  •

Really happy with these cables, good quality and value. We’ll replace all our cables with the ShereshTECH product.

Crazy cheap but i'm done with these types of cables from Amazon after purchasing a similar pack. Exactly like those reviews stated, they fail stupidly quick, and one of the connectors broke off in a port which i was luckily able to pry out with an old precision screwdriver.

China MFI vs Apple MFI ….. Cheap vs Expensive 😂

I'd be more worried about the damage it could do to your phone or charger, I wouldn't be leaving my phone on charge without being near with these types of cables.

  •

so fellow ozb'rs are there any reccomendations for non-Apple lightning charging cables out there?

    • +1 vote

The Baseus ones are decent IMO and can currently be had for under $20 for 4

      •

thanks might start (another) forum topic on this actually, I had a quick look and there's not much getting good reviews. I really hate buying the Apple ones

      •

        Just ordered 4 - thanks
