    It's very common to see that. I suspect those pictures of the connector are actually computer-generated, and Apple supplied the 3D file for the "business end" of the connector.

  Wow, I had no idea how bad a cable can be until I saw those reviews.

  I also find it hard to believe that it is MFI certified, I recall seeing an article where saying that Apple takes $4 (probably in USD as well) cut per lightning head to MFI certify it.

      Yup, all this time I thought brick and mortar stores were price gouging asking for $20+ per cable when you could find $2.00 cables on ebay (not certified ofc).

      After reading that article, well it seems that it is apple who is price gouging…

  We are so confident of our spiel that we are backing it up with a 90 day warranty. Don't bother with more expensive imitations that offer a one year or more warranty

  Crazy cheap but i'm done with these types of cables from Amazon after purchasing a similar pack. Exactly like those reviews stated, they fail stupidly quick, and one of the connectors broke off in a port which i was luckily able to pry out with an old precision screwdriver.

  I'd be more worried about the damage it could do to your phone or charger, I wouldn't be leaving my phone on charge without being near with these types of cables.
