  • "And if anyone's feeling generous I missed out last time 😁" what do you mean?

    • I am guessing s/he missed out on the steam code and wouldn't mind one if anyone is feeling generous?

      • Ah I see. I don't understand why someone on OZBargain, looking for deals on a gaming monitor, would give away a $50 discount for games. I guess with a name like Smashngrab they have quite the experience with freebies.

        • +1

I think it was kinda tongue in cheek comment :P

        • You do realise some of these gaming monitors make great office monitors also? I'd easily give my voucher away if buying

          • @digitizer: Yup, but I imagine you have some people you know IRL that you could give it to rather than a stranger.

  • Strange, why do some review sites say that this a VA panel?

That is the Q27G2 I believe. The S on the end is IPS.

Side note: I have the 24" 1080p variant and couldn't be happier with it. Really good value.

      • Thanks. Pulled the trigger on this.

  • I've had this open to buy for a week, is the $50 Steam card only eligible for certain approved retailers that the promo page mentions in the T&C?

    • There's a drop down list on the redemption page Shopping Express is one of them.

      • The OP's link leads to gg.tech365, this one is Shopping Express' link unless they're the same company?
        https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/333820249326?epid=22043933674&ha…

        • Not sure if they're the same. I thought the link was Shopping Express seeing as that's what's listed in the title so I presume they're the same company.

          • @yippy: ABN Lookup seems to indicate they might be the same as KS as well, but I've sent them a message to see

  • I dont have a desktop computer, should i still buy it :)

  • I have this monitor but I got it for 429 last year. Very good

Got this for 319 with afterpay sales. Good monitor, however mine has lots of noticeable bleeding when watching movies; almost returned it. Controls are unintuitive. Excellent for gaming monitor.

Bought this monitor a few months ago. Everything is great, I do design so the colours were much better, not too saturated nor vibrant. The monitor could also be rotated which was a bonus. I only have an R9 290X so the monitor could only reach 144Hz at 1440p. Came with a DP cable too. The only thing the monitor was missing for me was in-built speakers. Good monitor if you are planning to use external speakers, which I'm hoping to find a good deal on OB one day. 9/10 Monitor for the price.

  • Is “adaptive sync” just a catch all term for both FreeSync and GSync? So does it have both? And is this RGB or that upside down BRG ive seen other posts comment about?

    • Is “adaptive sync” just a catch all term for both FreeSync and GSync? So does it have both?

Pretty much. It has FreeSync and is "G-Sync Compatible", not native G-Sync (more info on the latter here). And these are RGB. It's the Gigabyte monitors that are BRG.

      • Thanks so much! I bought the DELL S2127DGF earlier in the week.

  • $311.22 now.
