    Luke from tech fast system is better value https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/631280

        Their 3070 ti with a R5 3600 for $1995 is still better value https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/630944

        Not Apple vs orange in this case.

          More like more expensive apple that you get in a week vs cheaper apple that you get in a month or two

          $100 difference plus this system has higher SSD/ better RAM (C16 not C22)/Fully Modular power Supply. + we have stock on hand, pick up welcome.

            @virco: What you have listed does not affect system performance to the same degree as having a 3070 ti.

          • +2

            @virco: Pros:

            • You can chuck out the Techfast 240gb SSD and stick it in the bin
            • RAM is a fair point, but it's a maybe 2% performance difference if you're CPU bound at most. Fast RAM with a 3060 is also somewhat pointless given the low probability of running into a CPU bottleneck.
            • Can get it tomorrow, whereas Techfast is probably a one month delay.

            Cons:
            * You don't really want to be using a DRAMless Crucial SSD for your OS drive either
            * Both PSUs are fully modular
            * Worse Mobo
            * The Deepcool case has atrocious airflow
            * The 3070 Ti perfoms ~62% better than the 3060.

            @virco: BPC have a similar deal with a 6700XT for less than this. This is a bad deal

        That saying really doesn't apply here, for any of the components individually nor the entire systems as a whole. There are dozens of easily accessible benchmarks to compare most computer parts.

        And this system fails miserably in comparison. Sure you have nvme and an extra 250gb and slightly better ram, but these are tiny details. The difference between the 3060 and the 3070 ti is enormous. There's a ~$700+ price difference in these two cards and thats defs not made up by the rest of the components. For $700 you could easily upgrade most or all of the other components.

    Not the greatest value, maybe if you value a 3060 at $1200-1300

  • Any chance on a mitx deal?
