  Got one of 1000xm4 for $270 from Sony price matching Amazon a few days ago (330 -60 amex offer)

  So 279 for xm3 not so good.

    I have owned both the XM3 and XM4, and XM3 since launch.

    XM4 make a weird noise when the door opens to my home office, like a decompression or something.

    Apart from that, XM3 and XM4 is pretty much the same from my usecase, which is listening to music/watching random videos on my devices. Noise cancelling is good as well.
