    Renpho is a Chinese company while Withings is a French company regulated by the EU privacy regulations.

    This one is the most premium scale from Withings that can run cardio check-up on you and do other things that a $25 Renpho one probably doesn't do.

  Withings is a more prestigious brands (Withings was purchased by Finnish company Nokia on 26 April 2016 and became a division of Nokia known as Nokia Health)

  So you have a peace of mind (or better chance) that our health data will not be sent to China.
