          People think USB C is mandatory, same as multi device pairing. I couldn't care less about either.

          My 35's have a terrible microphone. I cant take any calls with it, it's so sensitive. And some of the noise cancelling controls sound better. Since I want to use this for work meetings, microphone was a big factor for me.
          I thought the 700 headband felt better on my head actually, but yet to test them for an extended period of time.

              @the4thzodiac: I'll have to let you know! I bought it from JB yesterday but decided not to open it in case Amazon day went cheaper and it did so I grabbed it from Amazon and will return at JB. So I will let you know later in the week :p

      You can fold QC35, but not 700. Otherwise in my average consumer ears, not much difference.

        And the earmuffs on the 700 fold the wrong way. Wearing them on your neck the pads face away from you so the hard plastic sits on your neck

        The opposite to most other headphones

          The QC35s are the same. I don't know about "most other headphones", but the Sony XMs fold with the ear cushions facing down (still pretty uncomfortable walking around with them on your neck though).

            Bose were the first brand to face the wrong way and press on your neck and chin

      up until recently, these require a Bose account to setup and configure (WTF).. looks like Bose might have updated their app. Still, I don't know why you need an app to use headphones

      I own the QC35's and NC700's. They're not as comfortable as the QC35's, but the ANC is better. The updates haven't really caused any issues for me. Mine have been working fine for music and meetings since I got them.

    If you wanted black, just join the waitlist. You might need to do it on desktop, unless they fixed it. Previous years waitlist would not appear or was problematic on mobile.

      When I was in JB yesterday, the price stickers on the box say $595. So I don't know. I think a lot of places keep the original RRP to make it seem like their sales are better than they are.

    Managed to get one. Although it would be marginally cheaper to get from JB with 10% GC (if you can get one), being under $300, can claim back on tax. Good deal. Keen for these to come now.

      The only thing worth mentioning is that if you are doing your tax 'by the books', 10% off the giftcard shouldn't be relevant - i.e. purchase price officially is still >$300, hence needs to be depreciated.

      Unlikely that you'll get pinged for that to be honest but just an FYI
