    $69, Nice

  • Beat me to it

  • oh darn.. still 2 hours until shopback flash deal started..

  • lots of comments say it is fake?

    • +2

"Ships from and sold by Amazon AU."
Worst case scenario, you just get a refund I guess

    • +3

@NonSense The reviews are shared by all the sellers, with "marketplace" deals from all kinds of dodgy sellers. This won't be fake because it's actually sold by Amazon.

      • +3

ah. make sense! thanks for clarification

    • +1

The problem with Amazon is that reviews are by product, not by seller. So if you bought a dodgy one from a third party, the review will still show on this same listing page despite being sold and shipped by Amazon.

      • +2

They’re even worse than that as listings with multiple products, or where the product gets a revision, all get clumped together if a new item isn’t listed as it’s own thing.

Sometimes the reviews aren’t just covering multiple sellers, but multiple products or products that aren’t even available any more in the current listing.

        Wish they presented this better.

Amazon is fantastic with returns, if fake, you have all those images to help you determine if it's a fake.

      • +1

They are. My Loss KPH30i headband snapped through normal usage.

Amazon are sending me a brand new pair despite being outside of the return window.

Whilst this should be expected, it's nice to have it done so seamlessly

Danggg.. amazon is killing my credit card

you didn't stoke up on 10% off GCs with the zip deal?

  • +1

This is not going to go well with the CFO..

    • Or you can call him/her now ‘my ex’

  • 26% claimed. Better hurry

  • Been waiting for this deal. Thanks!

    • Literally made an alert for this a few hours ago.

      • Same but a couple of weeks ago :D

  • +2

Didn't need it. Bought one anyway. Amazon is kicking my butt :(

    • +1

I feel ya, I bought one on the eBay plus deal for 48 and haven't used it yet lol.

    • Same here, didn't really NEED one, but… this seems to be the lowest it goes without Club Catch / Latitude Pay and I had always wanted one more in addition to the first revision I had with the bad d-pad so…

  • Noice. Been waiting for sub-60 but assumed it'd never get there, so this is close enough.

  • +1

Thanks, not sure if I needed it, haven't used my Switch for ages, but I had the APPONLY10 code for purchasing using their app, so it gave me the extra $10OFF, deal.

  • I got a $10 credit for trialling Amazon Prime, saw a link in the top/middle of the Home Page

  • How are shoulder buttons for games like Monster Hunter? I bought one and you had to hold shoulder button extremely hard. Just releasing a tiny amount of of pressure and the character would stop running. I assumed faulty and returned it.

Do these suffer from stick drift to the same extent as the Joy Cons?

    • +1

Had one from 2017, still going strong, not a single issue.

    • +1

Nah they're rock solid. Best controllers on the market, and no issues like the Joy Cons.

      • +2

I quite like the 8bitdo sn30 pro plus. It has analog triggers which is a plus over the pro controller

        • +1

Agreed that 8BitDo SN30 Pro+ is a better controller overall, but I don't think the analog triggers even matters when used with the Switch.

          • +1

@TimeOrMoney: For me it at least feels better and it's useful for connecting to the pc.

    • +1

I think people will have different experience, both my joycons have no drift, one has sync issues with the console, and my pro controller has drift.

  • Grabbed a second one :) Cheers OP!

Hmm should I get another one ?

Hmm, wondering if this has been now suspended for everyone:

Deals/Forum posting threshold reached. Maximum 10 per 24 hours and 4 in 6 hours.

    ????

  • do these suffer from the drift issues also?

    • Mine does. Its hardly been used too.

      • I instinctively felt like negging your comment, and then had to stop myself :-(

  • All gone :(

  • Are there any 3rd party controllers that are comparable in quality?

    • 8bitDo SN30 Pro+ / Pro 2.

      • Those don't look very ergonomic in the hand.
        What about these ones below?
        https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B085VRVQVD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_g…

        • Difficult to judge ergonomics by looks alone, mate. It's a very well reviewed controller, and I find it very comfortable in my hands even for many hours at a time. And it feels great even with the extra weight of a smartphone clipped to it.

  • Is this that good of a deal? Has been sub $60 in other places, just maybe not as easy to get as this deal was?

  • Back now

    • OOS

  • Anyone else getting $82???

  • I refreshed the page and it booted me off the waitlist and the deal disappeared. Am I still on it?

  • Anyone’s been sent yet? Mine still hasn’t and I purchased when ‘in stock’
