    Sorry, I'm beginner. I have a question.

I'm going to order the first box. Should I pay only one $9.99 for delivery? The first box is actually for how many meals? Will I receive a single box only on one day, or I will receive several boxes and each with delivery charge of $9.99?

    • +1

You pay upfront the 9.99 then when your selecting the meals - up the top there are dates in a row - after the first date (which you want delivered) click on the subsequent date and click on edit delivery then skip delivery - and do that all the way through till they are all skipped. Then when you get your first delivery you can consider continuing or cancelling.

Just the first box free with $9.99 delivery, you want to skip the following 2 weeks so you don’t get charged then cancel after you get your first box.

Standard order is for 3 meals x 2 people per week, but you can edit this for up to 5 meals and up to 4 people at additional cost. Delivery will always be excluded and charged on top of any accrued credits, such as the $70 referral bonus in the deal.

It’s taught me so much. My schnitzels tastes better than a 5 star restaurant.

  • I think it's over :-(

    • Not over mines still showing $100 off

      • Have you applied any promo code?

        • It should be automatic the promo code. Click on the referral on the oz bargain site and it should open a Hello Fresh page with the discount applied already when you create a new account.

          • @Veebee88: it doesn't work unfortunately. I tried in incognito as well

            • @kosmonaft: It’s worked fine on my smartphone. Do you have another device you can use? Maybe even try download the app.

    • I just got given a referral code to give away $100 discount if you still need it. I’m not sure how that $100 is split though, could be $70+$20+$10 like this post, or $60+$20+$20, but you could try.

  • How do U apply for the $100 just make new account?

    • Yes click on the refer link on top of the page then create a new account it should appear with a discount

      • Is this referral link different and special? Or, I can also refer someone with my own referral link and thus give him the same good offer? (also give me something in reward)?
        Please let me know.

        • Yes you can add your referral

  • When do you order by and when does it arrive?

    • Never mind worked it out. So basically $50 and $60 it will cost in week 2/3?

      • Yeah if you continue to receive boxes the following week you will be charged that much. I didn’t find it worth $50 personally.

  • Omg I got 4 referrals insane.

    • Have they already showed up in your account as credits? How long does it typically take from signup?

      • +1

Yep. Got 3 within an hour and a half and one at midnight.

  • This a really good deal.

I have referred a friend. But, he is seeing a different offer. Price is $2.66 per serving and no shipping fee… So, first order with plan 2*3 will cost $15.93.
Is the offer mentioned in this OZ B post actually working anymore?!

    • Not everyone can refer with $100 discount. I had 2 accounts and only one of my account had refer a friend for $100 off, my other account had $50.

  • Hi guys. I have 2 free boxes if anyone wants them. Shoot me a DM if interested :)

  • I've also got some free boxes too. Shoot me a DM if interested

got my box for the first time. who the fudge would pay $80 for that? I understand that it's nice to be given recipe idea but that's not a lot of food for $80.

The salmon was great - but the mince beef is gross. it's like pure fat. Yes I am accustomed to buying "extra lean mince" and anticipated fattier mince but this was a whole new level.

For 3 meals x 2 ppl you get say 800 gms of meat - which if you were buying yourself would be anywhere from $10 (1kg chicken) or $30 (1kg quality steak, seafood etc)

People must have a large disposable income if they're doing this at normal price.

    Re convenience factor - a WW/Coles delivery

Clearly you're not just paying for the protein - you've got to pay for the other elements as well, which beyond the vegetables, sides, sauces and garnishes, will obviously include delivery, menu planning, recipe cards and the funky re-usable ice packs and chillers. Out of everything I've received, the quasi-cooking lessons via the wealth of different cuisines and cooking techniques has been possibly of greatest value.

I was never expecting $80 worth of food - I was expecting an $80 service and have been very pleased by it, not least since I've never paid retail given the abundance of referrals, discount codes and cashback offers via CashRewards and the like. For what I've paid, I've been very happy with the variety, freshness and portion sizes.

By comparison, personally I found YouFoodz to be much worse value for my use case. Granted the meals were much cheaper and required next to no preparation, but the lack of variety, taste and culinary learnings didn't work for me. Horses for courses, I suppose.

yes, i should have made clear that i expect a cost for the service and don't expect $80 of food.

what i meant by the reference to cost of meat, and obviously other ingredients, is that the "cost of the service" built in, in my mind is astronomical (as far as I'm concerned), in light of the comparative cost of the ingredients.

I think i got 3.5 potatoes, 2 carrots, 2 onions, 2 zucchini, 2 lemon, 300gm beans, a lettuce, celery, herbs, some tortilla wraps, ~800 protein and the bunch of sauces. So the 'meal experience' / convenience / sauces experimentation with /lavours price component is very high.

I intentionally picked protein meals for value - can't imagine getting spaghetti or rice dishes
