      expensive

Not a bad price considering it’s a newly released product, and everyone else is currently selling for rrp.

    • its a decent discount considering it came out about 2 months ago.

Personally not enough to be worth the upgrade juuuust yet, once it comes up for $200 ill probably jump on it. Still a way off from the OLED tv to match.

Edit - just saw the seller is selling for over RRP, ?????

I did the price comparison and the price is a perversive markup due to the product being $279 when it’s normally $249.

    $217.62
It would still be cheaper for apple epp discount at $211.65 which is 15% off.
Hence why I didn’t buy it when I first saw it.

Agreed - downvote due to the price jacking from $249 to $279 before discount!

Agreed - sellers like this go on my 'no buy' list!

    • Strange, my EPP listing was at full price. Is it now discounted or does it depend on your EPP agreement?

        Depends on the business.

RRP of New Apple TV 4K (2021) MXGY2X/A model is $249. This seller has jacked up the price to $278.99 then offers discount with code PEOFY22. It would have been better to get 22% off on the RRP $249 bringing price down to $194.

    • till its sub 200 its not a real deal… its just cheaper

Was available for $213 10 days ago. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/629753
I was wondering about delivery fees but Apple will sell you one for $249 delivered so I’m not sure where $279 comes from…

    • Thought I should check the mobileciti site directly. WAS $249. Now $248.99. Worth posting on OZB…??

  • The remote might be all-new and all-improved, but it sure as heck looks weird

      Pretty comfy in hand though.
Has a nice heft, and the curved back is nice.
Much improved over the Siri remote.

Dishonest seller, jacking up the rrp. That is utter BULLDUST.

    • I disagree; the 'final' eBay+ price is good, and most ozBargainers don't spend too much time pondering how their price was derived, or whether the item was made with child labour and decorated with blood diamonds. The "man on the street" is unlikely to buy it at the jacked price of $279, particularly if found through an eBay search, so no-one gets hurt.

Why doesn't eBay punish sellers for pulling this crap? It's so scummy. Every sale on eBay is basically a fake sale due to jacking prices up.

    • I would buy and then complain to seller, then ebay and then to Apple, ACCC for shoddy practices. In most cases of where it's by the 2ne step I did get a partial refund or a voucher. The price of the 64GB would be slightly below $200 before I do this dance again ! It works every single time lol

  • If I remembered correctly, Kogan was fined by ACCC a few years back for doing the same thing. Jack up the rrp before a sale.

  • Bought one from SydneyMobile. They ship to me a 60gram parcel with a piece of paper. No idea what happened.
