      Hey I did too. But when I checked with Amazon chat they said the pre order guarantee hadn't been applied so I had to cancel and reorder. I would suggest checking..

        I ordered at 10:28 am on 16th of June, so early that they didn't have an image for the item at the time.

        Mine hasn't updated either and I can't cancel and reorder because it's out of stock :(

            Telling me that the item qualifies for the preorder guarantee and the lower price will apply once it ships!

            They just keep saying the same thing over and over, that it hasn't shipped yet and they haven't charged me yet. Telling me stuff I already know

            I quoted this thread and they said that the items in this thread have already shipped that's why the price change has been applied lol

    Generally speaking, How well do these game watches retain their values after release?

      They're limited, but made in huge numbers. You can still buy the Super Mario Bros one new despite it being technically discontinued months ago. They won't gain value much, there's too many of them, but they won't lose value either.

    I paid $68 for the HN one (pickup), however, for 1 more dollar I could have gotten free delivery.

    Am I really having this debate with myself about delivery? Are we getting lazy or are we too used to delivery these days?

      Definitely not investment imo. When the Mario one launched last year it was so over hyped and couldnt fly off the shelves fast enough but when stock caught up it moved slower than treacle and it dropped in price everywhere. Maybe a novelty item in the future. An investment would be to buy the real console and game.

      If it had a way to add more games and features, like a revamped and modernised Game Boy instead of Game&Watch I think it would be more popular.
      I think I haven't spent more than 10 minutes with my Mario one I got on launch last year.
      That said, I will still get this one to bookend the other one and gather dust, because you know, hype.

      This is a pre order for something that releases in November, Amazon do not charge you untill the item ships… and if it gets cheaper, they will automatically lower your preorder price.

        Yeh, cancelling and reordering might make it a few days late cos they’re shipping by the list of when people ordered so the first batch will probably ship first but I’m in no rush to play it.

          Yeah mine was before they even had an image for it and my price didn't update either.

          Just spent ages on Amazon chat and they told me it will apply once it ships, which I don't believe as it usually updates in the order straight away.

          They gave me $10.95 credit anyway, so we'll see

        It was limited until March for manufacturing. Any unsold units at retailers after that period is beyond Nintendo's control. It just means no more now will be made for Mario editions not that they wont continue to sell them if available.
