Be prepared to wait perhaps a month or more with this store, they do not seem to carry stock and instead you pay your money and given a wait time up to a month. Pricing is not as good as TGG/JB discount gift vouchers either, which also enable you to pick it up immediately. I have also PM'd this rep twice, first on the 18th Jun and then again on the 23rd, and no response.

    • +11

I PMed them twice in their last eBay sale and never got a reply. When they specifically asked to PM regarding stock status.

    • +3

Wow, one month. Wireless 1 used to be good store. Hmm

    • +1

Thanks for the heads up / warning!
I was on the fence about purchasing…but this definitely helped sway my decision to hold off.

      Hi there nubzy,

On behalf of Wireless 1, I can assure you that we are doing everything we can to get products to our customers.

Unfortunately in the current climate, it can be very difficult to get stock in and on time, especially with Apple products that are in such high demand - production shortages and delays at the border can be quite frequent, and unpredictable.

We do try our best to notify customers with as much information as possible, or help by cancelling or refunding. With that being said, we will definitely take these comments into account and try to improve. As for your OzBargain comments/PMs, we will definitely be spending more time to answer questions.

      Cheers

I am still waiting for my iPad Pro 12.9 from the last deal, and as of today still nothing. Quite disappointed to be honest. You can't just simply get your way out saying "oh well, we can help with cancelling and refund" where customers has been provided inaccurate information on a weekly basis.

          Hi cloudie9,

I'm terribly sorry for the delay you're having. Our ETAs are sourced directly from our suppliers - and being estimations they are subject to change. We are trying our best to fulfil the orders as soon as we can.

          • +1

@W1James: I was wondering why cloudie9 + voted this comment but it looks like the store votes for itself

          • @W1James: Hello, if I buy a 12.9 inch 256gb wifi, what would be aan eta? Thanks.

            • @Kazusa: Hi Kazusa,

Current ETA is Mid July for those models.

              Cheers

        • +1

I guess I was fortunate - I ordered the 11" ipad on the last deal and it got delivered within a week, despite the estimate saying July.

          • @neilpatrickharris: 11" is mostly in-stock with little shortage issues, all the 12.9 WiFi models are pretty much OOS everywhere, including Apple stores, which quote an ETA ~end of July for themselves.

      • +5

Perhaps don’t sell products you don’t even have?

    • +1
    • How do you get the better price with TGG/JB vouchers?

      • Price match (usually a 10% off price floating around somewhere) and then use the 10% off gift cards. Also BNPL promotions if applicable.

    • I got my Mac in 2 weeks, plus they allowed 4 weeks shipping time, I was happy with that

  • +9

Still waiting for my Mac from last sale. If you click on the MacBook Air now it’s end of July delivery. GG

  • +3

I purchased my MacBook Air M1 base model from Wireless 1 on 9 June, the expected delivery date was 21 June. To my surprise, the item was delivered to me on 15 June directly from the distributor. I was initially concerned when I saw the increasing delivery times on eBay, so I gave them a call to check if the order could be prioritised. Suffice to say, they exceeded my expectation. Obviously, not everyone will have the same experience, but thought I should provide my feedback here to balance the discussion.

    • They probably just drop shipped from Apple?

      • Not from Apple, but from one of the official distributors for Apple in Australia.

  • +3

I was happy to purchase a MacBook Air from them this morning based on my recent experience with an iPad Pro 11" earlier this month - quoted delivery time was 4-5 weeks but it actually turned up in 2 weeks.

I did notice that their MacBook Air price was $50 more than Apple (before 15% discount)

    • +1

Apple is showing $1499 for base MBA, I though it was lower than that.

    • Price before discount is the same as Apple.

  • +1

Bought iPad and monitor from this seller before, good experience.

  • Aww come on..I just bought a router before this discount…

  • Have any of the retailers had 10-15% off sales on the M1 iPads?

  • +1

Afterpay has a $2000 limit. I can't order the Apple M1 MacBook Pro 512gb. Is there a workaround?

    • Pay with gift cards anything above $2,000.

      • It won't let me select the afterpay payment option which then doesn't let me apply the code.

        • Should be where you apply the Afterpay code PAYAFT15, add the gift cards there straight after.

    • Could try use an eBay gift card or PP balance to get below $2000, then do remainder with Afterpay. Have not tried though.

    • Same here!

  • So when do you charge my credit card? When the product has arrived and shipped to/from your warehouse or at time of sale?

    • AfterPay will charge your credit card in 4 payments starting immediately.

      • is that legal? I thought you could not charge till it was shipped.

    • +1

By the time the delivery is made you will be paid off the product already assuming they deliver on time that is. I’m hoping mine will arrive early

      • So Afterpay etc is just a way to be able to get guaranteed funds (by the shop paying a premium) and then they can ship later. This way they pass the buck to the BNPL providers. Sounds like a legalized Ponzi scheme to me

  • Any16gb RAM options for MBP?

    • They're a custom order only.

  • +13

Given that a rep has posted this deal wouldn't it be prudent for them to mention this item is not in stock and is on backorder? (ideally in the title or at very least in the description). I don't think setting a handling time of 20 days on eBay is clear enough.

    • Exactly. This information needs to be in big bold font on the eBay listing too.

      • I think "Pre-order" addresses this, but agreed it would be beneficial if they could provide some clarity on ETAs.

    • Hi chiefbodge,

Thanks for the feedback. I've reached out to our product manager to see what we can do.

      Cheers

The thing I am concerned about now is that the free 12 months Apple TV+ promotion is only available until Jun 30, but people are still waiting for their order placed during the last deal in early June. The offer applies for purchases before Jun 30, but you need to also activate your device before that date. So it looks like we will all miss out on this too, unless Apple will make a concession considering the circumstances.

    • +1

There’s like nothing to watch on Apple TV + if that makes you feel better…I got the iPhone 12 with Apple TV+

      • +2

Would not that be more of an individual choice, there are a few shows that have been favorably received and are enjoyable.

      • +1

There are a few shows that I would like to watch, watched the first episode of Tehran and that looks interesting.

    • It don't matter if you already have the free trial anyway. It won't let you activate a new free trial. It's really only for new Apple TV+ users who have never activated the free trial before. Maybe you fall into that category though.

  • Is this the cheapest for ipad pro?
STudent price is $80 off, with cashback discount maybe higher than this

  • As afterpay new customer, it only gives me $1000 credit, which I cannot pay the item worth $1500.
I cant split the payments on ebay as well into $500 and $1000. Is there any workaround?

    • Afterpay will just make you pay $500 when you initially make the order

      • not an option as a new customer. how can I transfer $500 to afterpay?

        • You don’t. You need to pay 500 using your credit card on eBay as u would normally do then the rest $1000 via Afterpay.

Have you actually clicked the payment option and go ahead with it? Give that a go and it will be self explanatory

Doubt you'll get your product by August.

I'm still waiting for my 256gb WiFi+Cell 12.9 from last deal. And back then they said mid-July

  • +3

Bought twice from them in the past and both times they said messaged saying OOS with no ETA… why even list it if they don't have it in stock in the first place. By the time they messaged me the sale was over, and your left empty handed waiting for a refund.

  • Any deal on Ipad Pro 12.9 (Gen5)?

  • Anyone ordered CTO (Custom order) and have experience on how long it took to receive their MacBook? Thinking about ordering the 16gb version but worried it might take months

    • +2

Yep, ETA says 25/June. Now been told it's delayed till end of July

    • +2

Yeah don’t bother, you’ll run the risk of getting multiple delays.

  • Purchased one, hopefully delivery isn't too late. Thanks OP :)

  • Ordered mine 11th June, got it today.

  • Got an 11" ipad pro delivered today
