First time post so plz be gentle.. I have been looking for one for a.while but I didn't want to order from interstate or online…
Saw the price in Betta Electrical's current catalog.. I don't have a Betta store close by so I contacted over 20 retailers to see if they would match.. The only one that did was JB Hifi @southland shopping centre. They did it with no issues whereas no other retailer would even come close. I did ask Chris at JB if he would mind me sharing this with others .. He was happy to do so as long as the Betta Electrical catalog was still current.
There have been cheaper out there but this way I was able to get one from a major retailer..if you have a Betta Electrical store close by then that's great.. But unfortunately there is not that many of them around.

      apparently i have not negged this deal. if i want to s pend $4xx on a tablet, i will buy a better one. not a fan of xoom at all. also, i dont really care about 3g at all.

    Its the 3G version. Its a good price for a retail store.

  I have been looking at these for a while,after playing around with a few tablets (I have also had the Acer A501 $399 DEAL from Good Guys , and returned for full refund after 3 faulty units out of the box..) Call me unlucky..lol I like the build quality of the Xoom compared to the Acer.. The tablet feels great in the hand..
  The cheapest 3g model I saw was $399+ delivery from online computer who are now sold out and will not be getting any more in .. I confirmed this with them . So considering I live in Victoria and was able to get this from a major retailer at this price is a bonus.

  I managed to price match this deal for $428 at….are you sitting own for this one….Hardly Normal!
