contacted live chat about the expired code

Here, as per the eBay plus Tuesday deals terms and conditions the users can only be able to apply or use voucher as long as the promotion shows up on item listing page, now it is not showing up which means the promotion is over. That is the reason you're getting that error message.

there's nothing else they can do

eBay just keeps going downhill to the point where they cant get their own discount voucher dates correct. This is only 1 use per ebay plus account so no way its been used that much to have it removed.
