Select specs. tab to look at the specifications.

It says no spoken names. But it could be outdated.
One thing though, it is a very good GPS. I bought a Nuvi 360 nearly one year back, and I never regretted it. At that time, it was the only 300 series nuvi with bluetooth and spoken streets.
As per the specs, this looks quite similar to 360, except spoken names. But like I said, Garmin might have repackaged the 360 and selling it as 310- and it might also have spoken street names etc.

Any sellers who would like to clarify the differences between Garmin 360 and Garmin 310?
    Cheers,
    Varun

  • Another question for owners of this GPS

    In this review

    http://www.cnet.com.au/cartech/gps/0,2000438599,339272199,00…

it talks about the GPS having a “Fuel usage mode”

Have you been able to see or use this feature?

    Thanks

  • varunpant, as per this site, http://gpstracklog.typepad.com/gps_tracklog/2006/03/nuvi_310…, nuvi 310 is for europe and 360 is for USA with europe maps + Text To Speech (tts).

But this one in australia comes with tts , it got australian/american/british text to speech voices to tell street names or even mobile phone SMS (sms feature works with sony ericsson only, though all other phone features worked with windows mobile/nokia phones i tested).

mrflibble, i think cnet review says one of the meter in page 13 of this manual - http://www8.garmin.com/manuals/1184_OwnersManual.pdf - as fuel gauge. btw, same manual for all nuvi series.

    • Exactly my point! (Earlier, Nuvi 360 = Nuvi 310 + TTS).
However, if 310 also features TTS now, then it would be quite similar to 360- and I would say it is a GREAT buy at this price,

      Cheers,
