There's other coupons like singer40 and singer50 that still work
    pic

  • Took 15 minutes and 8 refreshes to learn that postage was going to be absurd. Bail.

Another day another ozbargain deal that's crashed another site

  • Might be better off paying the $14.50 if you really want one
There is a good chance the $0 orders will get cancelled like has happened many times before

Agree and to be honest, it's not really great to take advantage of any company at this time of pandemic. Except for ebay, which sucks!!!

  • Lol might be a good gift for someone. Got it for $11.10 thanks to $20 coupon code.

  • This page isn’t working singerco.com.au redirected you too many times.!!

  • awesome deal but i can't even access the website

  • ROFL site is being ozbargained

  • Error establishing a database connection

    OzBargained?

  • just purchased one now
was $21.09 postage delivery cost in Melbourne

  • Comforting to read that others experienced tripping as well. It was working nicely for me during the warmer months, and I didn't know why it started tripping in winter, until I read the comments above.

  • They removed the promo code field

    • damn.. I thought it was just me not being able to find it!

  • Heh - 502 Error - must be Ozbargained!

  • Dammit crashed after PayPal payment

    • good for you, waste of money and now space. Wifey tried making bread a couple of times, unlock issue as it was getting stuck somehow and poor bread quality even after multiple tries.

I've wasted about 5 loaves max in the early days. Made many more since. The key is not to use too much yeast. 3grams or 1 teaspoon is enough. Too much yeast causes it to cave. The simplest is to buy Laucke bread mix and use 360g of it, 1 tablespoon oil, 3g yeast. 40C warm water.

  • Error 502 :(

    • you broke it.

  • Can't find the Add Coupon field

Yup seems like they removed it.

      • they're back now, but no codes work

    breadmaker $14.50
chance to get electrocuted or burn the house down… priceless.

  • Bargain is not only about saving money, but space & sanity.
    Pick 2: I did the last 2 ;)

  • They must have sold a few thousand of these. They must have warehouses full of them, just can't sell them all!

  • Did anyone get email confirmation of their order? I screenshotted the final screen but no email received other than the PayPal payment

    • I have invoice and confirmation.

    • Yeah, mine crashed during the payment screen too, but the paypal transaction shows an invoice number, so that should be enough to chase it down.

site didn't confirm order but did receive email confirmation and money taken from account

    • Yes, got a confirmation on mine and it has also shipped. Didn't get a shipping email from them but the AusPost app auto added a shipment from them earlier today and it has been picked up.

    • I never got an email confirmation, the transaction shows 'pending in my bank account.

  • How can an air fryer cost $100 when a bread maker is only $20?

  • Have never bought from these people before, have no account with them, added to cart, didn't proceed. I get an email later about items left in my cart. F*** off.

  • I just got one for $27.25 delivered via express post. Act quickly!

    • We got it for $7

      • Where?

        • This deal with code.

          • @superforever: Oh nice. Didn’t know anyone actually managed to get that. Not that I got a great deal or anything but my mum has been cooking her own bread lately. Thought this may help her out.

            • +1

@[Deactivated]: I ordered with and without the code, my order with the code just go cancelled, no call or anything (not even an explanation in the email). If my other order gets cancelled I will be annoyed as I want one :-(

              • @Jackson: As other said it is not worth with full price.

                • @superforever: Full price order wasn't RRP, was $23 delivered, $15 bucks for the unit. I think it would have to be pretty bad to not be worth that, especially if you don't have a dough mixer. At the very least will give me something to interest the whipper snappers so they know where their bread comes from.

                  • @Jackson: someone reported it was tripping their circuit breaker. thats a risk of electrocution at least or burn the house down at worst. that kind of risk is not worth it at any price.

                    • @xoom: hmm, time to get insurance sorted :-p

On a serious note, for every one person saying that there's 2 others saying it works fine, and no one's had problems returning them, so it still could be worth a punt

                      • @Jackson: thats home and contents and life insurance.

                      • @Jackson: Ended up arriving today. I’ll give it a whirl tomorrow. Shame, can’t seem to buy pods for it anymore

              • @Jackson: I haven’t heard much yet. Let you know how it goes with my order.

              • @Jackson: I got a an email and tracking number for a package from them today. So I guess I got lucky? Maybe not so much it my house burns down :s

                • @[Deactivated]: Only cancelled for those using coupons, so if you didn't use the coupon then your order will be fine.

                  • +1

@akte: Yeah that sounds about right. I pad $27 which is still pretty decent if it does the job.

Please note that this discount code only applies for our repeat customers and can only be used for purchases above $100.

    Yep order cancelled

  • $14.50 + $8 delivery (Sydney) for a bread maker doesn't seem like a terrible deal.

    • Postage Melbourne and other states is $20+
Good deal if you live in Sydney

Got mine on the weekend. Followed the recipe to the letter, very good result. The second time tweaked it slightly and when up the proofing stage i pressed pause, took out the dough hook, and made the dough a bit more uniform (don't overwork it), back in the pan, close the door, resume. Other than looking a bit nicer and not having to fish out the dough hook it was the same.

No tripping of safety switch, at one stage even had the sandwich press on as well.
