Who comes to your house to steal door stops ???

      Someone who need door stops.

  •

Does it really stop a thief?

    •

any thief hellbent on getting in will find a way.

  •

Better off putting money towards a mirabella window/door sensor or movement sensor from Kmart so you can get notifications of intruders.

So you can know you're being robbed as opposed to some degree of prevention? Sometimes a 120db alarm going off will be enough to dissuade someone going any further.

    •

Didn’t like the quality of Mirabella smart gloves but do you rate the motion sensors from them?

      • +1 vote

The motion sensor seems to work pretty well. Nearly no lag, and sensitive… maybe even too sensitive.

I use it to notify me then I can quickly check my cameras if I’m worried.

          Awesome thanks!

      To WA ?

      •

        lol
        Feeling optimistic?
After the next WA election maybe?

        •

WA is harder to get to from VIC and NSW than travelling to NZ….

          • -2 votes

@jv: because WA is more than 5km and NZ is not? :P

            Dan McGowan is to blame

@jv: Sandgropers count their blessings for that every day, and then add an extra blessing for sneakers McGowan.

They added wireless to differentiate between the wired door stop alarms?

  •

Hm. I wonder if I put these under a tray can i detect water leaks in my roof.. maybe it'll trigger these as the tray gets heavy

Because all the leak detectors use batteries that can't be recharged, or are overly complex designs that want you to have apple homekit..

Nevermind.. 9v batteries on these too

Might be useful if you have escapee children??

Should be a fun way to give my flatmate a heart attack when they try to get into the house.

there's a tuya one that can take 2 AAA eneloops

      •

Thanks. No need for a hub but needs a phone. Why is it so hard to get AA/AAA + inbuilt alarm?
