  • You might need to tidy up the description - the iphone11 is only $498 (plus whatever plan you are on) but this reads like its still ~$1k. Pretty tidy discount

    • Thanks i just removed the discounting and stated the cheapest plan.

      • this bit doesnt seem right - 13.84 x 36 = 498.24

Min. cost $984.74 plus your chosen plan fees.

  • It's a great deal and the payment is also available on a 12 month plan too

    • yep was hard to put it in the title but will add some words into the description.

    $2,111.04 over 36mths?

    i11 64gb $898 + 3 x Boost 240GB 12m sims $720 = $1618

op change the deal to the 12m plan: $86.52 x 12m = $1038.24, the saving is about $100 from buying outright &a sim, with the upcoming drop in iphone 12 prices coming better off waiting for that

12 month plan actually looks like good value, especially since you don't fork out the whole lot upfront

  • "FAIR GO POLICY APPLIES

$500 iPhone offer: iPhone 11 discount: Available to consumer and business customers (excludes TechFund) who sign up or recontract and stay connected to an eligible SIM with an iPhone 11 on a device payment plan over 12, 24 or 36 months. Discount forfeited if you cancel either plan. Limit 5 redemptions per customer. N/A with other discount offers unless specified. Ends 01/08/2021 or while stocks last."

    no deal

  • ~I guess this better paid off if you can get iPhone 11 Outright for $900 & 12M Boost SIM for $200 (240 GB = 20 GB/M)~.

Update: 12M option is cheaper if you preferred Optus to Telstra Network.

The 12 month plan works out to be $1,038.24, which includes the iPhone 11, and 12 months of 20Gb/per month.

Drop all the minimum cost stuff from your post, OP, that’s all about cancelling and losing the discount.

As mentioned, 12 months with the cheapest plan is the best, but not that great.

I signed up last week, the deal is great if work provide an allowance for phone plans. It's also good if 5G is important as most of the cheaper prepaid are on the congested 4G networks.

    • +1

      iPhone 11 doesn’t have 5G.

      • why do you need 5G?

        • +1

I don't, the post I was replying to apparently does. "It's also good if 5G is important".

It's a pretty specific set of circumstances that their employer pays their phone bill and they didn't even want the phone. Personally I'd wait for a JB/GG deal instead and just get a 5G phone to start with.

I didn't mention that I sold the phone for a tidy $300 profit and using the Sim on my S21 Ultra.

        • Crafty!

      • huey got vaxxed obv

How is this good if 5G is important, this phone only has 4G.
