    • yeah i see no mention of CPUs

asrock and msi 6900xt are appearing as WAYYY more expensive for me

edit: shows after adding to cart

  • 6700xt or 3060ti??

    • Depends on priorities.

If you care about Raytracing and DLSS then the 3060ti might be better, but if you just want raw performance then the 6700xt is better.

AMD has the FSR or whatever now too anyway, so while DLSS is better than FSR, its still there and its still good.

        • FSR works with Nvidia as well.

          • -3

@Dienk: FSR isn't a pro for AMD, it just negates DLSS from being a pro for nvidia

        • Yes, which means the more important question in my mind is will you use the Nvidia Nvenc encoder. Most important difference if you stream/produce content

VGA? Really? Don't think anyone with a 6700XT is plugging into a 20 year old monitor. Typo?

    • +5

VGA used to also mean video graphics accelerator.

Ugly average models for ugly average prices.

Keep holding gents, not long now.

    • Yes, hold is def the game. Even if it doesn't pay off (and I really hope it does) it's a sensible calculated risk.

Does the A in ARGB stand for annoying?

    • +2

Addressable. It means each light can be individually controlled.

      • I think B3 was making a joke…

  • Meh.

  • Looking for a low profile GPU for my HP i5 SFF…….no luck 😭😭

    • What case u have? Lots of sff case can take 2.5 slots card

      • some thing like this….

        https://refurbs.com.au/products/hp-800g1-i5-8gb-480-w10p-sff…

its the height that matters, width is ok…

        • Is fractal design node 202 OK for u? It does fit a 2.5 slot card. If u don't mind a bit bigger for taller CPU cooler, Silverstone rvz01, I am using it with a MSI 6700xt and AMD 5600x?

          • @s20525xxx: Thanks for the effort but I already own the HP SFF, I am not building a SSF like pc.

Standard branded SFF case like HP and Dell only accepts 10cm height graphic card and currently only one on the market is 1650GTX.

Highly unlikely there will be anything better than that 1650 any time soon in low profile.

  • Very tempted, aren't the latest iterations of Gigabyte cards of questionable quality? (both Nvidia and AMD)

  • Hold it. Not yet.

  • Hardly a good price, MSI mech x 6700xt was $999 on their site, before they jack price up for the last two promotion anyway, along with bunch of other good cards. PLE had xfx 6900xt merc, a good card, for way cheaper. Be careful with promotion from shopping express and futu online (their eBay store)

    • the merc 319 6900xt is back up to 2299 now

Hence, I used "had". Just saying these are not great deals, u might get better price elsewhere or at a different time.

        • "Just saying these are not great deals, u might get better price elsewhere or at a different time"

Could literally say that about any deal.

In the last month I've seen 2 6700xts at $999, one was reference card from gamedude, other was the mech x2 from SE. The Eagle which is at least a 3x fan card, was $1049 the week before last, before going up to $1200+ this week and now with the discount was $999. Best deal of all time - clearly not - but given xfx from ple and powercolor cards from pccg have historically been the cheapest cards and they currently sit at $1099, this aint bad.

Likewise the Phantom has been $2099 on PCByte for some days now, so $1999 from S/E was only an extra hundred dollars off, not the greatest but cheapest those cards have been in some time.

  • No 6800xt :(
