anyone use the Green 0% one? Whats the different between this? Which is better???

  •

How do these compare against the lowest Classic ones? That is, are we just paying more for hype?

    •

would like to know that as well

Tried both. Classic one does the cleaning job alright, but somehow left a bit after wash residual on mugs and plates.
Quantum Ultimate is 2nd best after relatively new Quantum Ultimate pro. Hope it helps make your decision. By the way, dishwasher is Fisher & Paykel normal model, nothing fancy.
Having said that, still have to go through over 200 Classic ones bought via eBay deal back in April.

These came with our dishwasher, worked well. When they ran out we gave the classics a go. Didnt notice any difference between them. Dishwasher is bosch and 60 min cycle time for what its worth. Sticking with classics

Do you have any watermarks with the classics? For me, the Ultimate one works better with glassware.

No but we use rinse aid too

I find Aldi’s Logix brand 18-in-1 tablets, which is 19c per a tablet, just as good as Quantum Ultimate. YMMV tho.

    •

      strong smelling though.

they clean quite well, but it stinks out the house with a harsh floral smell.

    •

I find Aldi logic brand dissolvable plastic doesn't dissolve in my LG washer so you have to remove it which is a bit annoying

    •

      umm worse?

      34.4c per tablet.

  •

Are tablets generally better than powder?

    •

Certainly a lot easier to use

No - they don't allow the dishwasher to pre rinse properly.

When you use quantum your dishes exist in both clean and dirty states until you observe them. Doesn’t happen with any other brand!

    • +1 vote

They don't exist at all until observed.

All the dishes could have turned to cups, or cats (alive or dead) ;).

    Is this a 50x5 pack or a 5x50 pack?

    •

point made, clearly a typo ;).

FWIW, this is a slightly lower price than our local (WA) "cheapie shop" which is usually a lot cheaper than supermarkets, etc. They have the classic tablets for 18c ea in 110pc boxes. (rejectshop.com.au You probably have something similar in other States)

my chemist is selling the finish classic at $12.99/ 110 pcs. That is about 0.118c per pcs.
