Nah that is the i5 version. Mwave is $1999 for the i7 version. Centre Com have the i7 version for $1899 with 16GB of RAM. Newegg is $1917.30 for 8GB of RAM.

Why is Newegg so expensive in Aus?

Yeah nah, terrible price for these specs.

Seems like a horrible screen (~56% sRGB, 262 nits) and performance seems to be 10-15% slower than other 3060 laptops (source). Pity, I was hoping to get a reasonably priced 15" gaming laptop.

I would recommend the Acer Nitro 5 10300H/3060
Cost about $1300 at Harvey Norman

The 3060 in there has a vbios update from Acer to up it to 85 watts

Just upgrade the ram to 16gb (Comes with 1 stick of 8gb)

Yeah but only quad core :(

    Dell G7 17 for $1599 delivered
Same i7-10750H, full power 2070 which should easily beat the Max-Q 3060, and 16GB of RAM instead of 8.
Apparently gets a bit warm though, so undervolting a little bit might be a good idea.

lenovo legion 5 with 3060 , better specs , cheaper price previously.
