[Prime, Hack] $0 International Expedited Delivery on Prime Eligible Items from Amazon US/UK (No Min Spend, Was $49) @ Amazon AU

25295

I noticed this little trick to get free international delivery being discussed again in the It Takes Two deal, and realised I haven't seen it posted as a deal before so I thought I'd post one.

It's been known for a while now to some, but for those who don't know what to do, simply add a different item (or multiple) sold by Amazon US or UK to your cart to hit the $49 minimum spend and place your order, then cancel those items and you'll still get free shipping for the item/s you want.

Amazon US store

Amazon UK store

Mod: The OP has asked us to remove the deal, due to the reception it has received from some members. However we have kept it published, as it appears to be of benefit to many. Thanks

It's also possible to rip off Google Play by purchasing an app, cloning/copying your purchased app, and getting it refunded within 2 hours..

  • +2 votes

Ok OP forget to say if the AMZ algorithm picks up this play you may get permanently banned .
    Just a little thing .

    •

Exactly, its not something you can keep exploiting, may be once haha, lot of people here voting down the deal got their undies in a twist lol

  • +1 vote

I didn’t know you could make changes to your order after you placed it. I thought you have to cancel the whole thing and then place a new one.

    • +3 votes

  • +1 vote

Thanks for the deal, I wasn't aware of this :)

  • +3 votes

I wish Amazon would introduce a "ship later" option.

I could collect the items I want and lock in the price and then it gets shipped all together at a later date.
I often buy something and actually don't need it straight away - imagine the boxes saved and less parcels on the road or in the plane.

This deal just encourages more single items shipped. Not a deal!

    •

      Wgas

    •

Some items do actually have that feature. You can select specific Prime delivery day and orders throughout week are collated and dispatched together.

It's not as widely available as in the UK, but have seen it here. I guess dispatching immediately is better for them somehow. Maybe logistics and stocking is easier that way.

  • +3 votes

This is not a hack, this is fraud bro. By doing this, you are forcing Amazon to put tougher restrictions that will affect everyone. Stay away!!!

    •

      Should report to Amazon lol
It's not something people should be doing deliberately all the time but handy to know
Good that Amazon au is very relaxed fit free returns as it is, and there aren't many items from US/UK that are cheaper or I'd order anyway.

  • +2 votes

    No deal
    Also bad for environment

Nah in fact there is a lot of people who
Don’t care much about Jeff getting poor.. right now aye 87 nay 66. This is pure entertainment love this can’t stop laughing…

    •

🥇 Go for Gold OP! 🥇

  •

New to me, but I never have trouble getting the limit anyway. Now my prime trial is done too.

I don’t agree that posting it here will result in a patch. If you think Ozbargain has the customer base or buying power like the non-Ozbargain pool of Amazon customers, you need to think again. We’re a drop in the ocean and I’m sure other groups online are onto this as well. Amazon probably barely notice or care.

  • +2 votes

I didn't knew about it so here is my +1. Few days or months down the road, if someone post the same thing, I will give -1 and say silly post, stfu, you ruined for us, forum post etc etc.
But for now, +1 it is!

  • +1 vote

Please don't do this. There's a reason they impose a minimum order amount.

    • -2 votes

Mate please don’t cry , hey what’s that Robert F Kennedy Jr doing right now? My My check it out!

    •

Is it to force us to spend more?

This is almost as bad as the time someone posted the "deal" that you save more on Prime membership by buying yearly instead of monthly subscription.

  • +4 votes

Op, have you ever think this haven't been posted for a reason?

  •

This post is literally disgusting!! How come it's even approved!

    •

No one approves posts in here you just post, try it.

  •

If you change the order straight away do you still get charged for the extra fake items and get refunded or you will only be charged for the item you actually want and not the cancelled items.

    • +1 vote

They don’t charge your card straightaway usually you have half an hour to cancel an item unless it’s a 3rd party seller where they do a quick payment processing. Till then you can cancel the f out of any order.

Hope Amazon won't increase minimum spend $99 for international delivery in the future to cover the cost.

  • +11 votes

It's amusing to see how many people think Amazon does not already know about this :).

Yes, it is a hack and no, I will probably never use it, but if you have to downvote a deal, at least do it for the right reason.

    • +5 votes

Well said.. lot of people are pissing their pants worried it may be gone forever, more than that they don’t want people to know which is utterly selfish.

    • +2 votes

I think a lot members use neg to discourage people, if you succumb to this, these people win. If you ignore them, humanity win!

You're one of those people who goes on live chat and asks the agent, "I see this 34" UW IPS 144HZ for $200 dollars, can you confirm if it's a price error before I buy it"…

    • +1 vote

I did that because sometimes they have wrong product codes. I ordered something with a -50 which means 50 quantities in a box. i ordered 5 but they send 5 and not 250. You have to make sure weight and size is right
