Mods have tagged the new deal a duplicate even though it has different terms and conditions and some major differences, so let me insert it here and the top Rep comment previously:

Appliances Online has more units of the Euromaid 269L Top Mount Fridge ETM269W available

Let me explain what happened here.

Yesterday, when this OzBargain post blew up, we sold hundreds of the fridge before we realized we had made a pricing error.

As an apology for those that missed out on this deal, we will be giving OzBargainers the opportunity to purchase at this great price until today, Friday 30th July, 6PM AEST

The price is the same as before, the promotion is the same as before, the only differences are:

    • The end date of the offer has been updated to today, Friday 30th July, 6PM AEST
    • Strict limit of 1 purchase per customer

While the offer ends at 6pm, Appliances Online reserves the right to withdraw or extend the offer as per our terms and conditions.
Please read the full terms and conditions for this offer here: https://www.appliancesonline.com.au/euromaid-fridge-300-instant-cash-off-august-2021/

What does this mean for OzB?
    • Anyone that successfully ordered yesterday before the offer was taken down will get their fridge (indeed, some have already had it delivered this morning!)

    • Anyone that missed out yesterday, you have a couple of hours to get your order in before 6pm

    • If you can't get a fridge in your postcode, please contact our customer support with a live chat or calling us directly on 1300 000 500, we may be able to help

    • The only request we have is to leave us a review or share your experience with Appliances Online with your mates or online after you get your Euromaid fridge. Feedback (both good and bad) makes us extremely happy and is super valuable for us.

TLDR: OzB uncovered a rare pricing error which led to a genuine bargain on Appliances Online.
We're essentially extending that offer to today, 6PM Friday 30th July AEST
    • Just wondering if you ofer free delivery to qld4870 thanks

      • We do, when I change my postcode 4870, it shows up with free delivery.

        • Thanks for you reply!

    • +4

Kudos to you. I've just taken delivery of mine, and I now genuinely feel bad it was a pricing error. Hopefully this ordeal doesn't cost you guys too much, but it does speak volumes for AOL. All the very best :)

    • +1

      Wow awesome stuff guys!

    • +1

I can honestly say that Appliances Online have always had great customer service (regardless of this offer).

  • +40

Prices like this make me wish I needed a fridge.

    • +1

I'm thinking of it just for a beer fridge…

      • +1

        Just for a beer fridge?

        Sacrilicious…

Sir, there is no finer calling for a fridge.

  • +1

this is amazing, thank you OP. hopefully this gets honoured

    • +19

I can confirm this is a legitimate deal and all sales will be honoured until we run out of stock or we hit the 11/08/2021 end of promotion period.

      UPDATE: 16:34 AEST
There are some discussions happening back at head office.
I've been told to hold on further updates.
What I'm allowed to say, is that we will definitely be honoring all current orders and anything up until MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.
      Stay tuned!

      • Are you sure?

Sounded like a great deal, but won't let me process the one in my cart, saying no longer available as at 5.15pm.

Regardless, thanks for the great deal. Sounded like a corker for those who got it - be sure to let us know if any more turn up in a hidden corner of the warehouse…

      • +2

        Good on ya’.

You have gained a loyal consumer.

      • Great deal! Any chance of $300 instant rebate on the other Euromaid models?

      • Would there be more stock available?

Ran out too quick and I had it in my cart and was on the last step then out of stock.

      • +3

I can't update this older comment, so will just reply here.

Latest update is IT WAS a pricing error.

So we had to take the offer down (while making sure we honoured all the successful orders that went through yesterday to around roughly 5.30pm - OzB, don't quote me on the that exact time!)

Really happy to see a whole bunch of you already received the fridge this morning :)

While we needed to fix the pricing error, we also thought about a good compromise for the OzBargainers that missed out, so we republished the offer for essentially a flash sale that ends 6pm today, Friday AEST.

More details (and the new offer) here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/641456

  • +2

Bought one, will be surprised if this gets honoured fingers crossed though.

    • +1

Well it clearly says in the ad on the page $300 instant off… So it doesn't seem like a pricing error to me.

  • How's the Euromaid brand?

    • Cheap

    • its a basic generic brand.

    • I'd rate it amongst any other chinese generics like Aldi etc.

      • You forgot ???

        • +6
          1. Purchase generic chinese appliances
          2. Slap a sticker on to suggest Euro/Italian/etc
          3. ???
          4. Profit
    • It’s a budget brand but their seem to have good customer services from their other appliances. I have this exact fridge and the build quality is actually really good. Way better than my old lg main fridge,

  • +2

Would make an epic beer fridge!

    3 star energy FYI

    • +51

      5 star price FYI

    • +2

Who cares? It's would take years to save the $500 by going to 5 star fridge.

      • well, a more energy efficient fridge also means less CO2

        • +5

Buy a smaller fridge eat less, save CO2 to produce and transport it around.

Unfortunately most people will buy this as a second or third fridge.

          • +1

@netjock: yep, that's another alternative but a 5-star smaller fridge is also more energy efficient right.

            • @[Deactivated]: Looking at fridges there is something odd going on.

              200L - 300L fridges are generally cheap and 3 stars (I have a 221L with 305KwH pa)

300L+ there is more 4 and 5 star models. Have seen 400L models do <400KwH pa as 4 star but 500L models 4 star or 5 star doing 500KwH+

Need to actually be very careful and not look necessarily at stars but KwH pa as tested.

              • @netjock: yeah, you're completely correct. Ultimately if a small one produces less and it's enough for you, then it's the better choice. However, it was more directed at the argument that we should only pay more if it financially benefits us. I pay more for items that use recycled materials as I think it's better.

                • +1

                  @[Deactivated]:

directed at the argument that we should only pay more if it financially benefits us

True. That is why the true cost of the fridge isn't the sticker label but also hidden cost of electricity and the pollution from that electricity. Putting the true cost of a lot of items people would think twice. It is like we've been warned about water scarcity but most people still expect water security is someone else's job.

              • @netjock: Of course larger fridges have higher KWH as it is cooling more volume?

You need to divide the KWH by the volume cooled.

Also the different models will have different % of space allocated to freezer which will use more power.

Use your signup email for $20 off and a further $20 off if you're targeted for 28 Degrees. Delivery already confirmed for me. Thanks OP!

    • Thanks. Do you think it is a problem given it shows as "winning" group on the statement as opposed to appliances online??

      • I think you're onto a… winner

      • You're right. 'Winning' showing on CC, but AOL on invoice.

        • Lets see in 7 days i guess

          • @Westpac: But it's definitely a legit promo. See here.

            • @tightarse: I meant if 28 degrees will honour the cashback since its a different name on the CC statement

              • @Westpac: Ah, gotchya. Should be fine as I'm sure they have all the matching merchant codes.

              • @Westpac: The 28 Degrees $20 rebate came through. See here.

@tightarse: Great news. My one should come through soon then. cheers

Just because I don’t need it right now doesn’t mean I won’t in a couple months time. And I’ve never seen a fridge priced this low.

  • Feels a bit like that kitchenaid deal a while back. Where they honoured it and had a sh*tload of publicity.

Although, surely shipping on this is a killer?

    • Free shipping too!

      • Yeah, but surely it still costs them a lot to ship it. Fingers crossed it’s honoured.

    • +4

KitchenAid was a genuine pricing error due to how we handled bundles and how the pricing algorithm was working (which we fixed).
      Euromaid is a legitimate deal.

        • I’m located in Melbourne. If I order today will it be delivered Saturday or Monday? I’d prefer Monday

          • +1

@unity1: You should be able to choose your preferred delivery date and pick Monday.

When you make your purchase, you can choose a delivery day (unless it’s a small appliance or a small audio-visual product, because they're delivered by Australia Post). In most areas, we deliver Monday to Friday, but in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne metro areas, we also offer Saturday deliveries for an additional fee.
