Charles Tyrwhitt 5x Shirts for $199.95 & Free Delivery @ Charles Tyrwhitt

180

Great quality shirts. It's been cheaper before no doubt, but ~$40 per shirt with free delivery is still a great price. Cut for extra slim has slightly more room around the chest and waist in comparison to a TM lewin fitted shirt, but TM lewin doesn't really do the same hot pricing online as it used to since it's stuff comes straight out of the UK nowadays.

Side note, I bought uniqlo and van heusen black label shirts lately just to give them a try, CT definitely better quality at the same price. Uniqlo collar was flimsy, van heusen material was meh and the sleeves were too short.

Thanks @doweyy for the tip if you are having trouble seeing the deal:

  1. Go onto Google Chrome without ad block installed to be able to be served google ads.
  2. Search for “TM Lewin” and the first ad that should pop up is CT Shirts for $39.95.
  3. Click through and it should trigger the cookie to load 5 for $199 Delivered

the joys of WFH mean I haven't had to think about dress shirts in a long time! back when i was in the market i ultimately found all the rtw brands were much of a muchness and i only had luck with getting stuff tailored. i'm lowkey jealous of those for whom rtw dress shirts work well.

    • What did you have trouble with in terms of sizing? Most brands have different size options for torso, neck and sleeve length. With those three options you’re pretty much covered?

  • I added 5 shirts from the link you sent, but it only reduced the price to 59.75 each. Is there something else I need to do?

    • Shouldn't be. Make sure before clicking into the shirt, it has a note beneath saying "5 shirts for $199 + FREE DELIVERY".

Otherwise if you've been to their website recently, might be worth clearing your browser cache and trying again?

      • Thank you. I really don't know why, but I cleared my cache, then used another browser, and I still can't get the note that says ""5 shirts for $199 + FREE DELIVERY".

        • Try navigating there manually

          Go to the website, Clothing>Shirts
Then click on the picture of the guy that says "Work Shirts"

With everyone liking the option to work from home, I wonder post covid whether there'd be greater flexibility and hence no need for too many shirts

    • Like tracksuit pants in different colours?

      • Maybe not news shirts, just bigger ones.

  • I need 5 x pj special. Perks of working from home now.

    • We have Kmart for that

      • Good point

    • yes, a balance of our wardrobe. Half business, more pjs. Hopefully there's some peter alexander promos coming

I felt sorry for these guys taking a hit to their business from COVID, till I started going back to the office a couple of days a week and needed to buy a heap more shirts because of how fat I had become in lockdown.

ordered from a similar deal earlier in the year and found these v true to size for anyone else worried about order online
If it help fit-wise I'm pretty slim athletic build at 6" and ~80kg, got 39s in super slim and extra slim and found them both a good fit. Super slim slightly more so, as I prefer form fitted, but there was less of a range there and extra slim was also fine.

  • Great quality and fit, by far my favorite brand for work shirts, even compared to more expensive stuff.
