      Negative.

Maybe Suncorp has probably read this thread, and plugged the Woolworths / Coles hack described above. ;-)

Also, I don't think it counts if you tap/use the physical card directly.
You must use your digital wallet, i.e. Apple Pay or Google Pay in store or online.

    • Nothing yet………….just checked

    • Allow up to 7 days.

  • nada yet

  • same, waiting for my $20.

  • I am patiently waiting to see the $20 bonus on the 8th September!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The credit under this Offer will be applied in the calendar month following the Eligible Customer satisfying the Qualifying Purchases.

Doesn't spell out how many days into the following calendar month.
Probably written by a terrible lawyer.

Probably written by a terrible lawyer.

C’mon, now — let’s cut the (undoubtedly overpaid) lawyer some slack… they have given the backend dudes until the end of the month to pry our rewards out of the management’s hands. Or fulfill the terms, I mean.

Nothing like double-checking… triple-checking… procrastinating until the last possible second.

      Same! Still nothing…………!

Have sent a message asking where the f is our muny.

    • +7

Received a reply from Suncorp saying if you've made 10 qualifying digital wallet transactions in August, the funds will be applied at the end of September

      • +2

$20 VISA credits are applied today. It seems on the 15th of a month.

  • i noticed my suncorp google pay payments mysteriously started being declined earlier in the week. physical card worked ok. i rang the bank and they couldn't see anything wrong. after deleting and then re-adding the card it is now working again

  • I've had it decline with sufficient funds with GPay. I tried again for the same amount immediately after and it worked.

$20 VISA credits received today. I made all 10 purchases in the Prezzee App.

  • i was paid today

Did anyone else get 2x $20?

    • -1

No one would get x2 cuz this is only the 2nd month

      • Okay, so why did I get 2?
        https://imgur.com/a/9omwQY6

        • Ehhhhh. Probably it's a proof that you are the chosen one.

          • @gosund: I wonder if they just credited me for next month early, because I already did the 10 transactions for this month. If I don't get it next month, that's probably why.

    • Just 1 for me

    • +1

      @gamerkonks

I got 2x $20 as well. Have you done your 10x transactions for the current month, September? I did and that might explain it.

      • Yes, I did.

      • +1

Okay, this is odd. My other half did 10x transactions each for August and September, but only got paid $20.

      • No I didn't. That could be the reason

      • I got 2x$20, on the 15th and 17th, very strange indeed.

    • Same here.

      For both August and September.

    • +2

I got 2 x $20 too. Presumably because I had already completed the 10 transactions for this month.

I've just been doing the 10 x 1 cent transactions at woolies.

  • +1

Got $20 for 10x5c in Woolies

  • Anyone got the $20 by paying off Zip Pay?

    • +2

Yes I got it, it wasn’t all zip but mixed payments

    • 10 x Zip Pay payments and got the $20

      • I think it is for Apple Pay only?

        • I expect so

      • same, with apple pay.

  • +1

The card added to Apple wallet doesn’t have the option to pay using eftpos savings to avoid surcharging at Aldi.

    • Yep. It sucks. But what can you do?
Not many banks enable the EFTPOS savings function via Apple Pay.

      • +3

Actually Suncorp does support this function the problem is this functionality cannot be enabled if you choose to load the card using instant provisioning within their app.

If you've got access to the physical card removing it from the Apple Wallet and adding the card manually again and ignoring all prompts to add the card back from when you added the first time will enable the eftpos function.

        • Great find. Thank you, mate.

          • +1

@DoctorCalculon: Additional information by the way Suncorp was the second bank after the ANZ to introduce this feature by the way.

    • +1

This because loading card from the app, not directly into apple pay via scan of the card or entering the numbers manually. stoopid.

      • You are correct it does need to be done manually it's not supported on instant provisioning.

  • My last 2 transactions of the 10 for this month went off pending on the 20th got the cash back the following day on the 21st September for anyone interested 8 self check out 1 cent split transactions and 2 transactions through Revolut.

    • Did you start in August or September? If it's September, then I should be worried that I did something wrong.

      • September

        • +1

I've hit my Sept goal on 17th and yet to see my $20

    • October Update: The transactions for this month went off pending on the 06 of October got the cash back on the 08 of October for anyone interested 5x2 self check out 1 cent split transactions.

  • I didn't get anything as yet… activated my card and started spending from 14/08.
I made some purchases in a mobile game through Google - surely they still count?

    • It doesn't matter what you purchase or where you purchase from.
You must have 10 transactions using your digital wallet - namely Apple Pay (iOS, Watch, Mac, etc.) or Google Pay.

If you use your debit card number directly, it will not count as a qualifying transaction.

      • Well yes that's what I meant - they seem to reflect properly as purchases through Google Pay.
But I haven't received $20 so now wondering what I did wrong or if there is some system as to when the $20 is paid by Suncorp.

        • All 10 transactions have settled by now?

          • @DoctorCalculon: Yep everything from August has.
Only unsettled transaction is one from a couple of days ago but I've not made 10 for September yet.

  • +2

Finished my 10 transactions for September on 21st and received $20 today 22nd.

    • Received bonus today(Sunday) for Sep spend.

  • +1

i can confirm i got 2 x $20 credits one must be for this month. i even seen this offer pop up when i logged in for exisiting customer. i wonder if i open another account would qualify still to get another set of credits?

  • I did 10 zip transactions that cleared 3 days ago but nothing yet.. Zip definitely works?

    • Same situation. Cleared on the 22nd but nothing yet.

    • +1

id think that paying off zip wont count as its not a tap and pay unless you linked it to apple pay to make a online payment?

      • Forgot to update, I did get my cashback early this week :) 10x $1 paying off Zip (I paid $10 with my Zip card at woolworths so I don’t have to do the 10x transactions at the register)

  • Has anyone here received their October bonus $20 yet?

    • +1

Yup, just checked and can see another $20.

      • +1

I checked again after seeing your message. Huzza! $20 for the month of October has been credited.
I guess this is it. No more bonus next month even if you qualify.

        Thank you, Suncorp.

        • If you've already qualified three times yes, no bonus next month. If you've qualified less than three times you still have a chance next month from my reading of the T&Cs.

          • @Kyle-K:

If you've qualified less than three times you still have a chance next month

Yes. For those folks who started one month late, they have November to make up for it.
