Easy money, doesn't ask for any student identification upon sign up, just your standard two points of ID.

  • $6.00 Account Keeping Fee applies if the account balance doesn't reach $2,000 at some point during the calendar month.

  • No minimum spend on the 3 transactions. 3x 1c supermarket split payments.

  • Bonus $50 will be paid within 30 days of promotion end date (31/07/2025).

  • The account must be OPENED by 30/06, but you have until 31/07 to complete the 3 transactions.

    $6 monthly fee. That's crazy. I don't understand why anyone would sign up for this outside the free $50.

      Oh for sure, there's no reason to use it otherwise, even if the fee is able to be waived.

  • Potentially, you could be up for the monthly fee, yet NOT get the $50 if IMB decide to reject based on age/student status - no mention of the "standard" account waiving the monthly fee even if balance reaches $2k.

  • My first ever bank account was IMB in 1978. They gave me $5 back then as a bonus for signing up. I wonder if that's worth the same as $50 now..
