Spend $10 or more at 5 different stores each

    yeah too much work

    • I think so too, however you got close to one (1) month…maybe doable?

    • +1

And if they deny 1 of u purchase…

      • Just a note:
The store you shop at tracks & reports your order back to us, we just pass on the message from them.

If your cashback is denied unreasonably, reach out to me so I can help + credit the bonus.

        • Thats a lie, my bonus from Adidas over a month ago still hasn't been credited.

          • @deals4amar: The one that's still being investigated by Adidas?
They can take up to 45 days to respond to us, this is highlighted in the initial emails :)

            • @gotyourback: I think thats what shopback management does not understand. People hate having to chase up their cashbacks. Thats why so many are frustrated with shopback as you can see in the comments in every shopback post.

              • @deals4amar: We do understand this pain point.
In fact, we're working on a really innovative solution to help customers in this aspect.
It just takes time, and we currently don't have a way to auto-detect you've placed an order that hasn't been tracked.

What I would like to note, is that this process isn't something we fully control.
We don't say 45 days because we like making you wait 45 days.
There are external parties involved in this process that must validate your order, and confirm ShopBack will be attributed the commission payment.
They also deal with our Cashback competitors and all the other affiliate channels that submit a missing commission payment to them. It's not just direct contact with ShopBack.
So it can take them some time to respond to our ticket.

We just ask for a little patience while we await their response.
                Cheers!

        • Will buying from multiple categories from Amazon AU count towards this challenge?
Eg. $10 from a category eligible for cashback and another $30 from one that's ineligible, to get free shipping.

          • @hughes: If it's under the 1 transaction, then unfortunately not.
Each individual transaction will track towards completion.

If you do plan on making multiple transactions at the same store, we ask you to exit & re-enter through our ShopBack App/Site between each transaction so your orders all track successfully.
            Cheers!

If 1 of the 5 stores fail cashback then the $10 goes down the gurgler.

    • While this is true, you can always reach out to me and I'd be happy to credit the $10 if I can see the failed cashback was out of your control.

Recently complete the $20 spend at 3 different stores for 9 dollars cashback.
Definitely not worth the effort tbh. Not even sure if actually get the cashback given the notorious tracking record of Shopback…

    • If all 3 of your orders have been tracked successfully, you just have to wait for them to turn 'Approved' before the $9 is credited.

  • This is so confusing and I could not get it to work.

  • Is this targeted? I’m part of the ozbargain perks already but don’t see this challenge in my app

    • Hey mate!
It is targeted, but not on OzBargain Perks.

  • Is this targeted? This does not come up on my ozb perks

  • targeted.

shows for my partner but not me.

    • Thanks, updated in the title. Hope Mods could help with formatting

  • Still have Reward pending for below whilst both are Completed in the app
    - Get $9 Bonus Cashback from 21 April 21
    - Get $3 Bonus Cashback from 5 July 20

    • If all of your orders have been tracked successfully, you just have to wait for them to turn 'Approved' before the bonus is credited.

  • Got $20 spend at 3 different stores for 9 dollars cashback

  • I got spend $20 at any 3 stores and get $9 back. Runs until 31 August. Looks like they are running this offer again.

    Edit. Ottie beat me

  • Not worth the extra efforts but nice to have it if you were already going to spend at 5 stores (but most people wont be) so its useless for most people

  • i didnt get it i guess its becuase i already have the spend $5 get $2 offer saved?

    • Not because of that, we simply target different users with different promos based on shopping habbits.

  • Joke posts are against the rules..

  • Rant

I referred to my friend after the last $30 offer. He purchased about $160 worth of products from Amazon. All of that has been declined except for one, a $3 product. Not sure if he is going to use shopback again, ever, and if I'll get my $30 of that reference.
After this, going through the tricky process myself is not worth and will not be recommending anyone to do the shopping for $10

    • +1

Hey, did you or your friend read the Cashback categories?
We don't pay Cashback on everything from Amazon.

      • +1

:) Thanks for the quick reply.
Not all categories are eligible for cashback, I did explain this to my friend.
And as I mentioned, it's a rant. He did purchase another Amazon product via shopback, yesterday.

        • +2

          That's all good!
I know Amazon can be tricky to navigate which product will earn cashback and which one will not.
But if you check this screenshot, in the top left I've circled where you can find the category for each item.
Unfortunately, this only works on desktop though :(

Completely understand it was a rant, just wanted to make sure I've assisted where I can.
Feel free to reach out to me via DM if you ever need help!
          Have a good one.

I commend OP’s effort in posting these deals, however difficult or frustrating it may be..

But i largely echo the comments above from my own experience, and compared to cashrewards i must say it is quite confusing (deals), hard to track, much, much slower to track and get reimbursed..

On the discount advertised it somehow looks more attractive and larger reward but in reality, cashrewards is “guaranteed” to work and much more reliably.

Who knows, this might change in the future.

Agree, been bitten by Shopback not tracking my Cashback, have been using Cash rewards since, no problems.
