Seiko Prospex ALPINIST Edition Mens 200m WR Watch SPB117J. This watch features a stainless steel bracelet and case with a black dial with a screw case back, a screw lock crown and a exhibition see through case back. All Alpinist models feature a rotating compass inner ring.

Seiko SPB117J1 features the Seiko automatic 6R35 movement with an approximate time tolerance of +25 / -15 seconds per day and a power reserve of approximate 70 hours. This watch has a 39.5mm case size with thickness of 13.2mm and an approximate weight of 150gm in full stainless steel and uses Sapphire crystal with a magnifier.

What we love: The classic look of the watch combined with the fit and the silver lugs, hands, crown and the 39.5mm case diameter. Plus, its a Seiko classic and this version is Made in Japan with a 6R35 movement.

    This is a great price, but my BB58 have destroyed my desire to ever buy/wear a watch in similar sizes, regardless of how much they cost.

      I had the blue dial. Beautiful watch, perfect size and weight, excellent power reserve as well. I ended up trading it with a Pelagos and a Blackbay Chrono panda dial for a 114060 Sub. Will almost certainly buy another BB58 at a later date though.

    Even on that picture the 12 and 6 bars/arrows look a little off centre. Just like on my bottle cap Seiko. Is it deliberate? Surely not.

    Classy watch.I have a slightly different one from a previous deal but it came with a leather band and had to buy a Seiko bracelet separately.The Steel bracelet looks so much better IMHO.
