  2070 G17 any good?

  No funny stuff with wattages like the 3000 series?

  Looking at replacing my desktop with a laptop.
  Currently have a GTX 8GB 1080 and Ryzen 7 1700x
  Just need something slightly better and a laptop and need to be able to connect it to my HP dock with 2 1440P monitors at home for when I do need to use external screens

  Recommend this or a 3060 laptop?

    Nope. 4gb on a 3060 is crap. Only good for use on the laptop's own screen.

      Probably depends on what you're doing.

      Mate is using 5800H/ rtx 3060 laptop to power 2 UHD displays until he can build a better system (one display port, one hmdi which might be using the igpu.

      But yeah I'd go for a 3070 or 2070super if the plan is high refresh rate qhd gaming or anything demanding on those.
