  • Nice find. Go to bunnings and price match. Expect a lot of faces from the staff over the price difference but persist until they honour it. This is AU stock and free delivery so every damn bunnings should price match it.

Yes I managed price match this afternoon after spotting deal.

Bunnings had this listed for $249 yesterday (price matching Sydney Tools but still not low enough) but for some reason it has gone back up to $335 today even though other stores still cheaper?

  • How much are batteries for these?

  • 6ah you can pick one up on Facebook market place 100-140

  • Hows it compare with this one? got a few of these and they are great and inc battery etc

Guessing its more powerful being the 54v version and looks larger/heavier

Bought it from Bunnings this morning, they were so hesitant to give it to me, lady tried everything to not sell it.
Had to show that they have a physical store, had to show that shipping is free, all without internet inside their store (how convenient that they block your phone signal in store)

Which store? I'll go same one lol.

      • Carrum Downs, VIC

haha no idea where you are based but tell them that trade tools has physical stores all over QLD and that delivery is free, take a screenshot of the whole webpage before you go in.

    • Gee, must be nice to be able to actually go inside a Bunnings store…I remember, once upon a time…

  • Last time they argued that it needed to be same day delivery/dispatch so refused. I didn’t have time to argue further however they will try it on to not give you the price match. Might have to pull out my “trade” card and pick one up as it is “essential” for me to have this grinder.

Just email special orders with details and price match. Works every time. They generate an invoice. You pay and collect.

    • What's their email address?

      • +5

This is from a quick search of their web site:

Our price policy also applies online. Please email Bunnings Customer Support at [email protected] to process the price match and place your order.

The one I email is [email protected]

You just substitute the store name at the beginning. I hope this helps.

    • yeah that's what I was looking for, thanks!

Wish the hedgetrimmer skin deal would come back.

  • The look on the staffs faces at bunnings when I showed them tradetools price. Of course it took them 15 minutes to search and triple check item codes and seek store managers approval but I persisted and got there in the end. Thanks @ leyton01 for posting this.

  • Thanks, nice find and bought one with price beaten policy.

Unfortunately you can't go in Bunnings store unless you have a PowerPass card holder.

Just went for a drive picked up two Bendigo would not price match in store had to ring head office they spoke Bendigo manager and now I have 2

  • Bunnings have now adjusted their price to $199 so price match for additional 10% off is no longer possible. Still a good price.

    • Still showing as $249 on the website (for Qld at least) and the powerpass app which has up to date pricing - are you looking at the 18V XR version which is $199 anyway? Which location?

      • It was on the shelf in Arundel with a special orange price label for $199. Said price valid until 16/8/21. I purchased from Pimpama store. There were none on the shelf but they had 4 in storage up high. They guy muttered something about suspended item but they still sold it to me. See link below for receipt

This is the Bunnings link to the same DCG414N-XJ item. It still shows as $335. They just haven’t updated their online price to reflect the in-store price.

    • Price shown as $335.00 on website.

I made and purchased it yesterday via phone call. They accepted it with using Price Beaten.

Price what you typed - is this written instore or ?

The power of ozbargain. We effectively forced bunnings to drop their ridiculous price on a superseded model. We'll done Ozbargain.

  • Head to bunnings if anyone wants the $199 price. It ends tomorrow.

    • Which one did you go to?
