Come on NRMA should do the same.

Why can't you just cancel until lockdow ends??
    Then reapply policy?

Car insurance covers a lot more than just those times when it is on the road…

  • Actioned thanks, good option by Youi, not really costing them too much but its nice to see them proactively pushing it out, certainly helps with my loyalty.

  • For a little perspective, on a $1000 per anum policy this would be a 2.5% saving totalling $25?

    • You got the Math!

      Just few clicks.

Youi…..we get you. They got me. Charging almost 450 bucks more for the same insurance that NRMA does. Instantly dropped their ass.

And they just kept calling n calling after that quote.

    • lol.. yes do your comparison.

Youi one is cheaper for me - I guess it depends on car usage.

I did a comparison recently. NRMA was cheaper than Youi for me, but Budget Direct was the cheapest.

  • Only for NSW and VIC

  • Was with Youi last year, they did the same thing, I pay my insurance annually and I can't remember getting anything back from them. But they wanted about $200 this year.

  • Cheers OP - they're still cheaper then NRMA (15years a member) offering the same benefits.

Be nice to see all providers offer something similar…

AIG, Suncorp, etc… get on board!!!

I have got Youi quotes online consistently throughout the years and even at 15% relief they are still more expensive than other insurances.

  • does anyone know if they make a policy holder in Victoria prove their usage is less? do they want a photo of the odometer or something? Honestly i use mine about the same as before lock down….edit: never mind, they quoted nearly $20 extra per month than my current AAMI insurance, (2015 Hyundai)..what a joke!
