FYI - this movie is played in a letter box screen 4:3 you can update the setting on your TV to widescreen.

Yes, but 4K discs still look ok when stretched.
I don't have 4K TV and I bought the disc during release for $25.
On my Samsung TV or blu ray payer, the Picture option doesn't allow me to stretch it.

I think the movie format is still 16:9 but just right / left black bars, the TV still think it is 16:9
i watched this on binge for FREE 14 day trial… its a good movie but i HATED the 4:3 size.. it made me feel like i was back in the 90's watching a daytime TV movie.

Let me get this straight. You're okay with black bars on the top and the bottom when watching a movie?
The 4:3 aspect ratio actually shows you more image for this movie, than a 16:9 presentation (well not 16:9, but to keep things simple).
Regardless, this is how the director intended you to see it, and it was actually pretty good. That said, you're entitled to your opinion that you didn't like how it was presented.
I prefer 4:3 ratio. You get to see the waist and not just their shoulders. :)

As much as I liked this cut better than the original, it would take a real hero to sit through this again for four hours.
Takes a Hero to sit through any BatFleck scenes…. Let alone hours…
I wouldn't call $25 a bargain for a 4K bluray. This will be much cheaper in a few months.
Of course, may be a few dollars in a few years.
I'll give you this, it's certainly worth paying the extra $5 over the original Justice League. but unless you really want it now, I'd wait a little bit longer. It will go on sale sub $15 likely before Xmas.
You could get it for $17 in JB 2 for one deal. Just wait and a 20 or 30% off should come at JB and also include their buy two get one free sale…
