    No. This is a senior's bat. You need to look for a junior bat. Best to check it out in a store to see how it feels when he picks it up.

    For a 6yo get a good quality plastic bat.

    Or the lightest Kashmir willow bat you can find.

    Most people get bats too big and heavy for young kids so Google cricket bat size guides.
