Yeah but you have to use afterpay.

  • Sorry I don't speak Mac but have the prices dropped heaps? Looking to get a MacBook for the misso and wondering how these are for video and image editing. I've got no clue

Apple design their own chip (M1) which replaced the Intel chips, meaning better performance and they can cut the price. I’ve got one of these (the very base model) and it’s insanely good for the price.

These MacBooks are the best bang for your buck when it comes to video and image editing. Can edit 4K RAW videos with ease!

the M1 chip supposedly can only handle 1 monitor attached compared to 2 monitors with the i series

      • There are workarounds for this.

        • Should be native support, so maybe next version will

        • its new tech idk what you expect, this version will have the same support the next one does through updates.

          • @razorite: Its a chipset limitation, M2 chip hopefully will be more like the intel series

  • OW pricematch works

  • very tempting as it seems a lot of notebook for the money, but not sure it will do much more than my 2020 Intel macbook air, and the intel chip had Office2019 as perpetual license, and now the M1 might need Office 365 as annual subscription.

    • Intel vs M1 has no bearing on the Office 365 vs Office 2019 perpetual licence. But if you have a 2020 Intel MBA, I'd probably just hold on a bit longer and see what comes out next year unless you're finding the Intel performance to be limiting.

  • $1100 using apple gift cards with everyday rewards points and edu store.
