    Note the delivery timeframe

    Doubt they have stock.

    • +1

I've always found the delivery times to be wrong on ebay and usually receive things far quicker.

    • +3

Yes, first and last time I will order with them. Poor communication, backorder stock and they even sent it regular post

      • Noted. Thanks.

  • If only it ran windows :(

gazes at his 2013 11” macbook air

    • If I could somehow dual boot or run Windows in a VM, this would be perfect.

(nice name by the way, just finished the game again a few days back)

      • +1

you can run a VM but with 8 gb i wouldn't recommend it. I rant it with Parrallels with Win10arms & win 11pro, but it ran abit slow with only 8gb as the software allows you to only allocate the ram for the VM.
Best if you wana run VM with them to get the 16gb version

      A possibility in the future.

      https://au.pcmag.com/macos/88736/m1-macs-can-run-windows-11-…

Parallels Desktop 17 supports Windows 11 (ARM version) on Apple M1 and Microsoft is working on a x86 emulator.

      • +1

Pretty sure Microsoft has an x86 emulator and it runs horribly. Having said that, MacOS host running a virtualized Windows guest and emulating x86 code is not going to be good for anything but the most basic tasks.

        • +1

It actually runs better than my PC, but abit slow on 8gb as you can only allocate 4gb to the VM.
Running win10arms was faster than win11pro.
Win11pro was more resource hungry. If you gonna go thru this, i'd but the 16gb version

  • Just got 1 thanks OP!

how is this a good deal? you can buy from here: https://www.apple.com/au_edu_5000447/shop/buy-mac/macbook-ai… and use Apple giftcards from Woolworths which are 15% off essentially.

    • There's a risk your order will be cancelled if they want to check your membership. Show me where Apple gift cards are 15% off?

    • true, might be cheaper but you also have two prerequisites in your method

    • It’s doable… but risky!

      • lot of ppl have bought it and received it successfully. Whats the worse they can do..cancel order or ask to pay diff..it will still be cheaper than this deal after combining the gift cards from woolworths.

        • I know (I have an M1 MBP bought through the AOC Edu store) - just pointing out it’s risky. And if they cancel your order or make you pay full price, it won’t be cheaper, it’ll be the same price as this deal.

You’re also treating rewards points as cash when they’re not - what if I don’t shop at Woolworths?

          • @jackary: Yep. I will do my best to avoid Woolies since they announced the partnership with Murdoch last year. Absolute garbage.

            • @ozb88: Whats wrong with Murdoch?

          • @jackary: Just got my M1 Macbook Air with the AOC link delivered today..thanks for mentioning it guys! Didn't know about this.

    • Absolutely, I just did this today, after loaded up $1300 of apple gift cards from woolie, and paid $1294 for the air. So it's around $1100 after the discount.

  • waited 1 month last time from this seller………………..

    • Haven’t received mine yet. Almost a month
