  • Can I replace my exhaust fans with this as exhaust fans + cpu cooler?

    • +2

Yes, as long as its top mounted and you have adequate intake

    • +2

Yes you can have this mounted at the top of the case as exhaust.

    • That's probably the most common way to use AIOs really

      • +1

        Okay thanks all :)

      • +1

Best way actually so the liquid in the cpu block stays full

      • its really not the best way to do it though. Your blowing hot air from your case through it. But temp differences are really marginal at best

    • +1

Do check your height requirements for a top mounted AIO. For my case, if I wanted to mount the AIO at the top, then I had to use LPX ram (low in height ram).

  • That's a good deal! Seems to support ever socket under the sun, too.

    • Cries in 775 :(

      • haha, putting a $100 cooler on a Core 2 chip seems pointless :P

        • cries in Pentium 4

          • @jianh: "under the sun" not from the surface of the sun.

  • These knobs keep canceling my orders.

  • expired?

  • I got the Corsair (CW-9060045-WW) iCUE H150i RGB PRO XT 360mm for $160 with teh discount. So people are getting there orders canceled?

  • $99 at MSY, every day price, local stock.
Decent cooler but not that amazing, will not hold down a 10600K at 4.6ghz doing small FFTs on prime 95.
I'm probably going to go back to an air cooler eventually, as I suspect the TDP of what this can clear is under 150W.

    Probably my next move ^

    • wow intels aren't very stable then my AMD Ryzen 7 5800X can do 4.8ghz easy and thats just on a Corair H80i V2 AIO temp is high obvioulsy but I am fixing that with a 360mm AIO :D

    • You sure its not the vrm of a mobo..

I recently installed a aio cooler to a i7 10700f cpu as it couldn't get past 3.8ghz when I did cinebench.. I instantly got a new aio and it didn't change a thing although the temp was way better.

The mobo was b460m Asus tuf [Prebuilt from Techfast]
I turned on some power option called APE in this board and now the all core hits 4.1ghz but no where near the 4.6 ghz all core. Damn. Atleast in my case, it looks to be a mobo issue. Temp are really cool.

      • It will hold 4.6ghz on cinebench forever, and at 60-70c, cinebench isn’t demanding at all. Prime 95 small FFTs will melt most though lol.

  • I finally got around to installing the cooler from this deal last night. My 5600X went from 72°C with stock cooler to 51°C with this AIO, under load running prime 95. Idle went from 32°C to 27°C. I'm really impressed by this cooler.
