      • Thanks!

But my choice of restaurant isn’t taking the code :(

  • I have the same code in my offers page for ACT.

    ZGZC-GEGX - VIC

    • Tried, says something gone wrong and errors.

  • Awww 30 mins to late

  • +4

Deleted MenuLog after one too many very late and delayed orders.

Menulog service is abysmal.. late orders, late scheduled orders, missing items(only occurs with menulog), dodgy tracking or more likely dodgy driver behaviour.

Their customer service is [remove empathy] decent.

Having said that, I'd use the coupon if there was a free delivery option to stack it with.

Menulog has been getting worse and worse lately, culminating in a 2 hour wait for a meal that said the ETA was 40 minutes. It arrived cold.

Got on to support who offered 5$ gift, then $10, then $30, before finally agreeing to a refund. This was a week ago and their policy says that you can't get a refund until 10 days has elapsed. Have heard nothing since this time, so they promise you a refund and hope that you forget about it after 10 days (I have the chat logs).

Won't be using their service again, don't get suckered in with the deals.

    • Depends where u live, never had an issue in suburban Sydney

      • +1

I'm in suburban Sydney too mate…I never had an issue until recently. Don't mind if its a bit late, but they need to be honest with their ETA's and forthcoming with customer service when they stuff up.

Well, I tried Menulog for the first time a couple of days ago. Had the $20 back on $30 Hungry Jacks's Commbank offer. Menulog eats $14 worth of my $20 cashback over driving there myself and picking up, but I figure still $6 cheaper and don't have to bother going down there.

Short story, finally get our food one and a half hours later from a fast food store less than 10 mins away..

The tracking thing pretty much went driver assigned, then driver is waiting at restaurant and then sat there like that the whole time. Don't know if that's the drivers tapping the app to say they are there when they're not or if that's just what it normally does.

I finally get on to chat support after the ETA has passed, they offer to cancel order and refund, but new ETA is 15 mins away and got hungry kids so let it ride. They offer $10 voucher then $25 and I've had enough by now so say ok (guess should have pushed for more).

Ordering directly from HJ's for delivery is cheaper. Food prices are same increased price for both, delivery $2 more at HJ's but no 10% "service fee".

At least in this case the food hadn't been sitting there an hour and a half. Food warm and chips crispy, drinks cold with ice in them.

      • I've seen this once or twice. It's been a while since i've used Menulog due to the constant issues, but i'd suspect that's bad driver behaviour - maybe doing other jobs, as I don't think the restaurants prepare food until there is a driver assigned.

For some reason, this only occurred with Menulog.

$5 isn’t even enough to cover the delivery and service fees..

  • With the promo code, ~$18 of food turns out 80c cheaper than the same items on Deliveroo after service fees and delivery charges.
Deliveroo running $1 deliveries across most restaurants.

    DON'T USE MENULOG!!!

Call the restaurant directly. It will be cheaper than any menulog voucher.
Menulog prices are always higher than restaurant's original price. And restaurants also pay high commission to menulog.

    DON'T USE MENULOG!!!

    • +1

This only applies for restaurants that either use their own drivers or if you are doing pick-up. It also might not work depending on who you talk to.

    • Ubereats even charges more

    • I'll vote you because i generally agree.

But, this voucher does make a difference. There are plenty of places where after deducting $5 its worthwhile for small value purchases.

But as i said, generally speaking the commissions of food aggregators are big, and consumers end up paying one way or another.

      • I concur, two pad kee mao delivered for $18.

  • Code won't apply for us in S.A

  • Thank you the code has been applied

  • Anybody got WA code

  • I got BGK6-X84J in NSW

  • +3

Yeah… Menulog REALLY lacks.. had several orders with missing/forgotten items had to beg their support for a refund and now they refuse to acknowledge anything else.. lost my business

  • Ordered for tomorrow (NSW), hopefully they don't cancel my order like another restaurant did to me, the sneaky bastardos.

  • Why I'm getting 'Voucher is not valid for this restaurant'
