  • This price is only for the linear red switches. If you want clicky switches (Razer's purple switches), the price is $159.

For some reason, the linear Huntsman Mini has a cheaper RRP than the clicky Huntsman Mini ($219.95 compared to $169)?

Why do linear switches even exist, they are so depressing. If you want mushy shit keys save a lot of money and get a $20 Kmart keyboard.

linear switches sound great lubed and filmed, way better than clicky switches for custom keyboards imo

Subjective, there are some really nice enthusiast clicky switches out there

        • Who cares how they sound?

They feel like a souped up rubber dome.

          • @MagnamoniousRex: its all personal preference, personally i like the feel, it also depends on what switch and lube you use.

          • @MagnamoniousRex: Maybe if you're using cheap linears or o-rings.

I have happily used a range of tactiles and clickies, but 205g0 lubed Gateron Optical Blacks are my current switch of preference - they are downright silky.

  • TKL Linear is $129 from wireless1 on eBay.

FYI, I got the white clicky mini for $99 just a month ago from wireless1.

    • afterpay deal expired last night

  • I bought this for $101 during a previous Ebay Plus deal. Been using this for 3 months now and I've had 0 issues. If you're going from a full size or TKL you'd need to get used to using the function key a lot. Other than that, razer synapse is known for being a hit and a miss but honestly if you're not big into macros or backlighting it's not too big of a deal to go without it. You can still change cycle through RGB presets using hotkeys.
