  • I have this cooler and it's been very good. cpu tower is massive and the RGB is mirrorred similar to what NZXT do on their Kraken coolers. Looks great. Bargain at this price if you are looking for a quiet, high performance AIO cooler.

  • What's the longevity of these (or any AIO) like over say, 10 years? Or would it be better to stick with an air cooler, especially if not overclocking? They just look so nice and compact!

I had a NZXT Kraken X61 run for 7 years without any issue. I only bought the X63 recently because my upgraded build had an AM4 socket which the X61 does not support.

So not quite 10 years, but I think it would have kept going if I didn't get my upgrade.

      • Still running an X61 here, just emailed NZXT with my serial number and AM4 mobo receipt and they sent out a bracket kit to make it compatible. Postage took a while from USA but all good. Could've also bought a compatible Asetek or Corsair AM4 kit but they were all out of stock.

Well I have Corsair h series on my previous computer for 5 years and now in my uncle house and work fine. Then again I still have my cm 212 EVO from 10 years ago and that also still working fine, there is no question aircooler will last you eternity and if fan die just replace it, AIO in other hand that rubber pipe will have finite years before it crack not to mention the liquid will dry up and the pump will also fail.

It's about what you looking for, if you just want computer well aircool they way to go expecialy you said you will not overclock. If you want to show of your pc then AIO the way to go, but you will need to change it in your next upgrade.

      • PCs have also hit the point where mountings have become fairly consistent, that 10 year old 212 evo will still mount on a socket AM4 or socket 1200 chip (although in the latter case, I probably wouldn't want to use it, those suckers get hot) and AM5 is reportedly going to stay the same on the AMD side of things. Noctua hand out free mounting kits these days for new gen chips too (looking out for consumers rather than relying on forced upgrades for sales? That's unheard of!)

Investing $150 in a big lump of metal isn't a bad investment, even on the relatively cool ryzen chips now because AM5 is going to support higher power consumption. As has been said it'll last an eternity, no questions. AIO looks great though.

Bought this brand new 2 month ago in a sealed box for $99, Sold by DEEPCOOL AUDEEPCOOL AU.
The fins under the screw hole are punctured like this when i exam it before mount it to my CPU. looks like refurbished product to me.
Didn't go for RMA due to this sluggish logistics during lockdowns and it is been only $99 and it still works fine with 5600x.

But do remember to exam your item when it arrives.

Same or similar product bought from MSI a few months ago.

Quieter than my previous CPU fan

    System runs noticeably cooler

Also has RGB so performance gains

  • Anyone got this installed in an NR200p ? The pump head looks to be quite large.

    • Should be fine in the NR200P with 153 mm clearance. This cooler's specs says that the pump is only 71 mm high.

  • Anyone know if this is a straight plug to my Mortar Max B450 mobo?

  • anyone can comment on how does this one compare to the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L V2 RGB Liquid CPU Cooler Intel AMD All in one (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/264843066655?epid=9040418522&has…)
