    HDR10 @ 350 nits… -.-

    • Is it good or bad? Looking for a office monitor 32. Go for it?

      • +4

Perfectly fine for office uses. HDR10 at 350 nits just means it's 'quasi HDR', or rather, a very generic and baseline specification of HDR.

Linus Tech tips explains what HDR10 is here.

You don't have to worry about what HDR spec it hits if you're not consuming any HDR content.

    ‘Reputable brand’ lol

LG is definitely a reputable brand. This is not Kogan's monitor ….

      • +1

Ah I read it as Kogan. LG’s are great 👍

75hz if anyone is wondering (not dismissing it .. just pointing out a fact in case one thought it maybe >144hz)

    • +1

      Yep… pass

beats 60hz for the pricing of 32"…

      • +1

also most of the 32" screens i've seen are VA panels…
        at this pricing…

thanks gonna pick one up / was tossing between this and the 4k… but i think my pc wont cope with 4k gaming atm

    • ordered - hope i remember to cancel the 14 day trial lol…

      • Hi! has your order been shipped yet? My one has been shipped yesterday but still no movement on the tracking

        • *yes mines shipped
          i received it this morning.

          • @spoonmugen: do you mind sharing which state you are located? Thank you

I’m based in Melbourne and my tracking still says ‘We’ve got it’, so much for choosing express post

            • @bluuesman: yeah in vic, se suburbs…
was it picked from warehouse yet?

mine was picked and then i got an sms saying ill get updates when it leaves…
this morning got an sms with the tracker…
              was bang on time…

plugged it in during lunch - great monitor so far
              no dead/inactive pixels

              viewing angles are great….
just figuring out hdr10… seems to be an issue with my gfx/pc setup

@spoonmugen: Auspost tracking update said ‘We’ve got it’ so I assume it has already left the Kogan warehouse. I have lodged an enquiry to try to get a more specific delivery update.

I’m glad that you have no complaints about the monitor, can’t wait to try it out hopefully it arrives by the weekend.

                • @bluuesman: did you get a tracking link?

not sure if mine was delivered with auspost….
hoping urs turns up / hopefully your neighbour has it or something

                • @bluuesman: did it arrive?

                  • +1

@spoonmugen: hey! yeah it finally arrived yesterday, once I lodged the enquiry on Thursday got an update the next day that it was scanned in a Melbourne depot.

I’m happy with it so far, big screen size and specs upgrade from the monitor that I had previously. Still waiting for the monitor arm that I bought for it so its sitting low at the moment.

  • This vs the Dell S3221QS?

    • +2

      dell is curved and 4k.

      are you gaming?
if so - can your setup run the games you want at 4k?
if its just webbrowsing/productivity go the dell…

      dell is also VA
      vs LG IPS
which has deeper blacks at the cost of viewing angles.

      not exactly comparing apples/apples

      • Ty, nah this monitor is not going to be for gaming. Mainly for staring at graphs and office work. Thanks for the pointers!
