Worth a note that this version has a few accessories less than the one from previous deals going for $99. Still a great price though.

  • +12

If you send the seller a message and ask for a deal at $99 he will accept and you will be able to use the code on that. I did it last time they had it listed at $199 get it half price with the code. So I got the item for free

    • How? Do they create a separate item for you? I don't see the usual make an offer button

      • +1

They send you the offer via messages

    • Trying. No response at this stage.

      • I wonder with the recent purchases from ozbargainers if they'll do it - from their perspective it's selling…

    • +4

Seller just responded with only 20% off…

    • I sent the seller a message hours ago but they haven't responded.

    • Message sent, waiting for owner's reply. I noticed that the soap bottle is not included. People are saying that's available in bunnings.

    • Received an offer of only 20% off which, when combined with the only working coupon (according to comments), makes it too expensive for a pressure washer with no pressure (according to comments).

  • Hmm.. battery operated. Does anyone recommend this product. How long would one battery last?

    • Power type: 20 Li-ion battery
      Max pressure: 22 bar
Best for: use anywhere, even without a mains water or electricity supply
      Weight: 1.65kg
      Battery life: 30 minutes
Charge time: 3 hours from zero
      Pressure settings: 5 (0, 15, 25, 40 and watering)

    • just get the normal plug in one

these need to be regularly charged and not sure how long is the run time

also no need to replace the batteries

    • +3

I got one n the last sale. It's only a 2.0A battery. Done 5 x 9L buckets, roughly 20-25mins. You can always buy a bigger battery but it will weigh a bit more. The pressure is decent, not as much as a corded pressure cleaner but at least 3x a normal hose nozzle. Good for the price for portability and convenience. Suited to cleaning outdoor furniture, cars, windows (depending on attachments) and small patio's. If you want something to clean driveways and concrete, grab a corded one.

    • Mine would be an hour using Dewalt batter y - 4.0Ah and Dewalt to Worx adapter.

      • Does it increase the pressure by using 4.0Ah? I saw video online when the drill change the battery from 2Ah to 5Ah, it became more powerful.

        • +1

Great question, even though you were negged by someone who clearly doesn't understand how torque can be impacted by battery capacity and configuration.

          • @UncleRico: I watched this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVMwp4Hm7OQ, got convinced it is all about the battery power, and I understand why 5Ah cost a fortune. BTW, I think the neg system is great for negging comments that are rude, disrespectful etc, but I think people use it if they don't like your opinion or if you asked a "dumb" question, ozbargain should get rid of it, if people disagree, I much prefer that person reply to my message tell their opinion or even have a debate.

    • I have one, though I use it with the bottle adapter and 2L bottles to hose bird poo off the car. It takes ages for battery to run down on a hose.

If you used this, any feedback?

Have the one with more accessories, my thoughts:
      Pros
      - handy for light washes, house windows, bicycles
      - very small angle of concentrated pressure, good for flushing out bugs in tight spaces
      - can be used with soft drink bottles (with attachment)
      - 2amp battery will last you about 30-45mins of washing
      - very light compared to a karcher, so my kids can use it too!

      Cons
      - very weak, don’t expect to clean the driveway of grime
      - can spray your car down of light dust, but garden hose has just as much pressure honestly

All in all, I bought it thinking it’ll be portable, light and easy to use - but regret it as it’s too weak to be very useful. I wouldn’t recommend unless you get it for an incredible discount the ozBargain way or free!!!

        Thank you, great review.

      • +2

Thanks for the review, save me $$. it would be sufficient pressure to use normal hose for car wash. As others mentioned , it would not easy to hold and move around when you wash big object like car, it may ideal for bike wash or small splash work. I’ll pass it.

        • +4

I've not lost a single water fight in the yard though…!

      • sounds like a convenient way to ruin your bicycle's headset and bottom bracket bearings!

      • +2

This was tempting until you said "don’t expect to clean the driveway of grime"

        Thanks!

      • Not my garden hose. I've cut 1inch Styrofoam with my unit - can't do that with the jet setting on my hose.

      • +2

True. Last week, I wasshed my car with this. Later I ended up using the hose.

    • +1

      mainly cleaning on

      vehicle
      mountain bike
      outdoor furniture
      window
      garage bins

But good for outdoor camping / activities.

Also bird poo removal from vehicle as well.

    • +1

I have one and the pressure is far from satisfactory - can't blast bird poo off the car, can't snowfoam properly. Battery JUST enough for a car for me. I wouldn't recommend this for car cleaning unless you have no other option.

      • I would have bought if it has sufficient pressure for car wash but after reading your comment, I am convinced not to get it. I do have a corded pressure washer but would prefer not to connect the hose to tap each time to wash car.

        • You would still need to connect the hose to a tap - or you could try using a bottle container adaptor but you will be running back and forth filling it up after it sucks up the 1.5L in <2 minutes, or use a hose to suck water up from a big container which I never used.

          • +1

@ymmf: DIY hack, inspired from the guy from the other Worx thread, using:

            Garden sprayer 5L

Hose adapter, i think this is the size, dont have one with me atm.

And a clear hose, i think it was 10mm.

Got a couple of this setup. Works great. Kinda heavy lol.

  • Is the PLUSPAPA code targeted because it’s not working for me?

    • Do u have ebay plus?

      • Yes I do

  • +10

The pressure is weaker than my piss tbh. A $10 - $30 trigger gun from Bunnings would do a better job and much lighter to carry.

    • +2

Want to come hangout on my driveway for a few drinks?

      • +2

Get the beers ready. As soon as the lockdown is over I will be on my way.

  • Would this be useful for say cleaning the shower?

    • +2

I'd say too bulky for maneuvering around. Stiff sponge and bathroom cleaner would be more effective

    • I used a garden pressure sprayer, uses less water and cheap as well. The pressure is not strong though so I use it after scrubbing the tiles first.

  • +1

so only works with Ebay plus? doesn't work for me

  • +2

I have one and the garden hose has more pressure but I use it for the upstairs verandah where it is hard to get a hose and works well for the floor and sliding door.

  • +4

Thank you, the 2 codes Worx.

  • Any cheap battery for worx? I need another pack

      • Same power and charger as the original?

        • Pretty sure you can use Worx charger, do note this is 3rd party brand. Check one (only) reviewer, he mentioned about 4 prongs. I believe all current Worx battery has 4 prongs.

  • +1

Are there any portable ones with higher pressure? Need something to clean the outside of my apartments windows but without causing a mess for the people below us.

The windows have never been cleaned. Maybe it’ll be cheaper to just hire a cleaner

    • You can try a magnetic window cleaner.

  • I have this and the pressure is terrible. Really not worth getting. You either attach the hose to it or suck it from a bucket. But it leaks and the pressure is not much better than a hose.

  • +1

I have this for two years, the power is tooooo weak, now I only use this to clean my cat litter tray. Also the my battery can only work for 10 mins now. Not worth to buy

  • I don't see the point really but here is an alternative… the poor man's snow cannon

    • +3

He forgot to close the sunroof.

  • Are WORX really crap and low quality equipment?

    • +1

I would say they are similar to Ryobi but with a much modern design battery than Ryobi. I had this gun and is good to clean inside the bath top, shower screen bicycle and I always bring this when going to the beach and and farms so I can clean the mud/sand out before stepping back to the car. You will need "WORX HydroShot Bottle Adapter Connector Accessory" and a softdrink bottle unless you have access to water supply

  • +1

Hey kids, youse are havin' a shower t'nite.

  • 348PSI……

  • Nice deal OP, but how are you getting free shipping?
    Showing $17.50 for me.

  • Does this deal come with hose? In the packege contents, I didn't see it. Thanks

  • This is 24 BAR which is about 348 PSI, even the cheapest mains pressure washers are about 1500 PSI. I wouldn't bother.

    • +1

But average pressure from a ordinary garden nozzle is about 40 to 60 PSI, so this is about 6 to 8 times more.

  • If you accept offer, are you locked into purchasing? I only received 20% off, but wanting to work out what would be the final price combined with the other codes.

    • "If" you can stack the 2 codes, calculations should make it $51.72

      • You can only use first code PLUSPAPA, the final price will be $73.20.

        • I thought PLUSPAPA only deduct $70. How to get $73.20?

          • +1

@htc: If you ask the seller, they will give you 20% off, $179×80%-$70=$73.20

            • @jimojr: Thanks, did you specify 20% off or just asked for discount and the seller gave you 20% off?

              • @htc: I asked for $99, but the seller said: we are unable to offer the $99 as this was an introductory special. However, we can offer a discount of 20%. I hope this is OK with you.

  • Will this 2x code working on this item?

It is in eBay item, "WORX 20V Hydroshot, Portable Pressure Washer, Battery & Charger Included"

I try, but no luck, anyone got any idea?

  • Is this worth $46.47? That's the total discount I've been offered after all applicable codes

    • What codes were you able to apply?

    • How did you get it so low, cheapest I got was $82.15

      • Sorry. I just read the comment above me now stating the two codes don't work together . So the seller offered me 20% off. Bringing it down to 143.20. Less $70 = $73.20. I thought the second code would work bringing it down another 15% off. So actually total would be $62.28 if both codes worked.

  • Only 1x $70 PLUSPAPA code worked after the seller send the 20% reduced price offer of $143.20 hence the final was $73.20. Ordered one anyway as I needed to do a quick turnaround clean off at my balcony with no access to power and water as running the cables/hoses was not ideal.

  • Is this still worx-ing I’m trying to buy this and feeling under pressure of the deal expiring!

Codes won’t apply for me, are they still active??

  • Can anyone recommend the cheapest alternative to getting an additional battery? The genuine WA3551 ones cost almost over $50 :( I also have a small DeWalt battery and the adaptor is like ~$30 from Aliexpress is this the best?

    • +1

I use an adapter - DeWalt to WorX from ebay.

About $25 to $30 including postage.

Don't use 54V battery on this adapter, use 18V battery.

      • Thank you for your reply

  • Did anyone else actually get the Worx WG629E.1 model? I did and it includes a few extras- it was the same model as this one- https://www.harveynorman.com.au/worx-wg629e-1-20v-max-hydros…

    • Lucky you, i got the advertised model.
