      Yes, you can use the Tuya / Smart Life App to control the brightness as well as the colour.
      Once linked with Google home App, you can then use Voice Control via Google Assistant.

      it can dim on the app.. there's like a minimum brightness level which doesn't really go all that dark

        You are correct, the dimming range is 3% -100% of its full brightness.

      Yes, the white colour range is from 2700K (Warmwhite) to 6000K (Coolwhite), it is designed for general lighting purposes.

    Bought a few from this seller couple of months ago and they arrived faulty (i.e. blinking lights and did not connect to the Bluetooth). Asked for a replacement and followed up for many weeks… The person I was talking to was not proactive or responsive. Finally, I was told they were out of stock and will get back to me once they are available but they never did. Will not recommend.

    I had a Lazer WiFi smart light but the light quality was POS compared to the Atom led downlights I have already. Are these worth the bother?

    Can these replace an existing downlight as plug out and plug in (like a light bulb from a socket) or is a special connection required?

      This smart downlight is a plug-and-go downlight that comes with a standard plug just like any other downlight you get from the Bunnings, you can pull your existing downlight from the ceiling hole to check if there is a plug base (surface socket) at the end of the power cable, and don't forget to switch off the circuit before touching the light.

    Extremely tempting as that's quite a price, but I'm going to keep waiting for a nicely priced ZigBee version compatible with my existing Hue Hub as I don't want 13 more separate devices connected to my Wi-Fi network.

    Has anyone tried connecting these to Home Assistant? Would it work using Tuya or LocalTuya integration? Or would it need to be flashed first?
