      How fast do you want to charge?
      3A at 9v is 27 watts
      3A at 12v is 36 watts
      Even 1.5A at 12v is 18 watts.
      Almost unheard of for a phone to have a battery above 20 watt hours, most are closer to 12-18w/h
      Seems pretty quick to me.
      Something I'm missing?

        yep, higher wattages are when you want to charge a laptop, so the you also need a high wattage charger …..

        A bit confusing since he didn't say what cable, when the post has 4 different cables. But I think he's talking about the usb a cables. Most of the time, charging with usb A don't even go past 15-18w.

      Nope. You're looking for 3.1 Gen 2, or '10Gbps'.

      They're definitely more expensive, but it is what it is. This was the best looking one I could find on Amazon - I can confirm the 3m one works fine with my laptop and phone to my monitor.

    Bought a bunch of these in the last sale, thinking Baseus was a decent brand.

    Highly disappointed. The Type-C connector just falls out of the phone unless it's lying flat on a table undisturbed. Tried on three devices. These simply don't apply enough tension in the connector compared to genuine (Samsung, Nokia, etc) cables.

    The USB-C to USB-C cables appear to be 2.0 not 3.1 as they list the max transfer speed to be 480 mbps. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB#2.0
