  Be also prepared to have your device reject the cord after a short period of use. Same as other cheap cords. Writing they are certified on the ad is misleading, as they clearly are not.

    thks, bought some.

    i’ve had the end break off in the ipad with other brands as i have charge cable in the ipad a lot while just gaming ….. i’d rather the charge cable break, than the ipad connector break if the charge cable connector is too strong …… think of it as a safety feature to stop you breaking the ipad lightning port …..i pulled mine out with needle nose pliers and used a new cable …..ive also broken ones on the work iphone including genuine apple cables …..chances are it’s designed that way for people who are rough with apple stuff to stop them breaking the device, rather the cable breaks.
